Before I purchased I saw a couple of bad reviews but I still went and bought it because it had everything I needed. Great fax machine, copy , scanner, and I get to print my pictures at home now. For the price I paid it was even better so happy!!

I like this fine and I am keeping it, but I had two problems with it and it seems like a lot of people do. 1. The thing will not wake up. It goes into sleep mode and I push buttons and do everything I can to wake it up and I have to unplug and replug. Well, it turns out according to online search that you have to set up the IP to be static and not DHCP - like that is super easy. But, it does wake up now that I changed it to static IP. And of course kicked it twice. 2. It constantly loses connection to the scan program. It seems to work fine, but probably 5-7 times a day I get a little popup that it lost the scanner and then gone. I had to silence the messages, because I don't care.

I bought this printer on sale as my original printer had reached its life expectancy. it was so simple and easy. So far so good, no negatives to say about this product as I just needed it basically to scan and print.

I bought this to replaced my old Canon Pixma, and have been pleased with the results so far. Set-up was a cinch, and it's automated software actually work to my advantage more than my old printer did.

I love this printer, I really like how I can print from my phone and I don't have to be even next to the computer to do it. I also love not having to have my laptop connected to the printer in order to print. I don't even have to be next to the printer to have it print

The printer is great at this price. Has all necessary functions like scan, print, and wifi.

I like all the aspects of this all-in-one unit. Scans and prints well. The touchpad is a great help. Wireless printing is flawless and a great add-on. The instructions are a little vague in places.

Good printing quality for the price. Nice compact design. It’s a little slow so it’s not really good for business use. Also print is not so sharp but does the job. Not good if you are looking for a crisp high quality product.

Good value for the price. It does everything I need it to when I need it done. We use it very minimally right now as far as printing/copying goes but use it almost daily for scanning purposes.

Everything I purchase at Best Buy is always top quality. Never had problems with anything.

The office jet 3830 is easy to set up and use, even for a techno-challenged guy like me. The first one lasted a couple weeks, then developed a fatal software glitch, but Best Buy replaced it. This one, so far, is doing a great job.

I know I will enjoy using this printer. My old printer was also a HP.

The output quality is pretty good. It is easy to change ink cartridges. The visual appeal is nice. But as with many low-cost printers, this one gets a bit rickety within a year or so. When I use labels, the feeder doesn't pick them up until partway through the printing cycle, so unless I push the sheets downward, I will lose about 1.5" off the printed area. This is a bummer. The software includes a maintenance feature that scans and looks for any problems with printing then automatically fixes them. This is very useful and convenient; no more looking online to find the solutions to my simple printing problems.

Have always used HP printer since 1990’s and would highly suggest you try them

Nice printer for home personal use. Runs very smooth with consistent wireless connection.

This printer works great for our needs. We occasionally print wirelessly from the computer or tablet and sometimes we use it to make a copy. I haven’t priced replacement ink yet so I don’t know how expensive the ink is for this printer .

Very easy to set up out of the box. I like that I can print from the computer, the HP app, or by sending the the doc to an email address. Only issue I have is that the printer takes itself offline sometimes and I have to power the printer off/on.

It’s a great printer it’s not heavy it’s really light great size and my part that I love her it’s about the ink I don’t want to be buying it at the store and It costs a lotit’s and with this printer it’s so cheap It’s awesome i loved !!
