    I've been using Canon products exclusively for several years. Got very frustrated with their failure to keep their software revised to maintain compatibility with MacOS updates. Decided to shift back to HP and selected the OfficeJet 3830. It has worked well so far.

    Prints great but runs out of ink instantly. Stops printing anything on the paper immediately when its low on nk. The ink does not fade out. When it's low it will print a beautiful page full of ink and the next page is nothing! Must always have ink cartridges on hand.

    Replaced my 6 year old Brother all-in-one with this when it stopped printing. This printer is much faster, the quality is 10x better and its nowhere near as heavy. Love it! Oh, and instead of having to replace 4 ink cartridges, this one only requires 2 (black & multi-color).
