This printer worked well for about a year then the printer wouldn't recognize ink cartilage after a few prints ended up using replacement plan to get a new printer.

We live in a world where most documents are shared online and/or saved in the cloud. BUT when you need a printer to put something out quick and easy, this HP Officejet 3830 does the trick.

With the HP ink program per pages printed, I find I do not worry about ink replacement as it is done automatically with HP for a nominal cost.

Due to COVID and the shelter in place, working from home was easy with finding all the work essentials In one place with good prices to match

It fulfills its purpose, the software took some work to get installed, wasnt printing anything in color. Had to contact HP to troubleshoot but after that it worked just fine.

We have one issue. We have to reinstall the software and reconnect. The interface to scan is smooth and easy to use. The print quality is good.

Wow. I haven't had to buy a new printer in over a decade. My last one was an HP as well along with a lot of the same features minus the Bluetooth printing. Boy, do I love that new feature! I don't think I will ever buy another brand.

I really love this printer. Any time there seems to be a connection issue (via wifi) it walks me through the entire process. Calling the company is easy too to get the job done.

Have spent probably 6 hours on the telephone with the Geek Squad trying to get the printer hooked to my Lenovo computer. They finally get it to print a "test" page. The next time I use the system, printer doesn't work!

Nice and well expected outcome. Did have to replace it. Didn’t want to switch the model but they didn’t have it anymore. Best printer I have owned.

My ONLY disappointment is that there is no paper 'catcher' to keep the copies from falling. Since the printer is housed within my desk, that means the copies are on the floor. Otherwise, a great printer.

I had a sales man helping me pick everything in a hurry. He assured me I could plug it in to my laptop without making it wireless. He was wrong now I'm stuck with a printer that I can't use until I get internet.

I love that I don't have to do anything - the printer does it all - it fixes itself if there is an issue with connection or some other reason it orders its own ink when needed & ships it out early so you never run out - I love it!

Very similar to previous printer. Wish it used the same # printer cartridge as previous printer. Purchased 6/17/20 and haven’t used enough to give a more complete review.

Have to wait and see how long cartridges last. Have had bad experiences from past purchases. Love the remote scanning fearure.

I was just looking for a printer when I made this purchase. I am so amazed by everything it does. I am a teacher and it has been so helpful to me in ways I never imagined! No running in to work with last minute copies that I must have.

Had an issue with connecting a device. Also had an issue with cancelling a job after hitting the button several times and turning the printer off. Otherwise it works great.

quality of prints is excellent, but very slow, 35 sec/page. scanning is a huge letdown. it is very slow, at one page per 30 seconds, and the quality of the pdf produced is low quality. not good if you do alot of scanning. the display is very bright, lights up a room at night, and there is no way of shutting it off other than powering down. HP was one of the first printer manufacturers, so I expected more.

It is a good printer it does the job. I use it to print my homework and so far it's been working as I expected the only thing it's that it doesn't come with the USB wire if you need to print directly from the computer.

A lot of problems with the installation, it would be better if there was a cable to connect to the computer. I do not recommend people who install the printer for the first time
