Very happy with this printer, excellent quality copies. The color prints are sharp and clear. Very easy to setup and hook up to internet. Would recommend printer to everyone.

The printer works well....but have had some difficulty getting accustomed to it. For example, I was printing pictures and then was going to print on letter size. The printer asked if I had loaded 4x6 photo. No I did not. I loaded letter so I answered no. Then I had problems. I learned to push “yes” even though it is not photo paper and it will work. Because my strong points are not technical or mechanical, I am reluctant to rate the printer at this time enter

It is my best buy yet. I needed a printer for my new laptop, and it has worked out great for me. Would recommend to any one.

We had a bit of a disappointing encounter with a sales associate who gave us a cord for the printer that was incorrect. The installation for a wired printer was a bit confusing but we finally mastered it.

For starters, the printer on the website says that it has automatic double sided printing. From my understanding that means you do not manually flip the pages to print double sided - the printer does it for you. This printer does not do this, you have to manually flip the pages. Secondly, it constantly gets paper jams. I tried to print a 66 page lab manual for my upcoming class and it jammed ten papers before it told me it was jammed, then when I fixed the jam - it was halfway through printing- it RESTARTED the print job, meaning I wasted approx. 30 pages of my own paper. The loading on the paper tray is weird because it sits very high up, almost out of the tray. You have to hit the top of the paper to get it to go properly in place (this happens when the sizing brackets are loose or to fit). Overall this was a really bad printer and I will be returning it and getting another one. I've had HP printers in the past and they haven't been this finicky and glitchy, I do not recommend anyone by this, it's worth it to spend $10 more for a better hp printer. Side note: The Best Buy store in Chico, CA also told me that this printer had automatic double sided printing and that I would not have to manually flip the pages, but this is not the case.

Had this printer since 2018, and until recently it started to act weird with the paper being jammed. But there was no paper jammed.

If you want a reasonably priced printer this is simple to install and easy to use, this HP Office jet 3830 is a good choice I guess!

This printer was more than just affordable. I am not up on technology but was able to set it up myself and connect to my phone. I would definitely recommend it

This was easy to set up and a makes lovely printed copies. I haven't used it as a copier yet. As usual, the cost of ink is off the charts, but HP printers are durable.

very good printer with basic capabilities. It uses ink moderately and connects to wifi easily. I now own 2 HP printers, they are seamless with Apple products

No complaints so far. Haven't used very long or that much yet. Time will tell. It was a gift that was delivered in July and not hooked up until a few weeks ago.

Love me new printer, I don’t need to use it ever day, But I am a mother so I always have something, to send , copy, or scan and this printer is perfect for that.

IF you want a great printer that is less money on ink this is the one for you !! I only get ink when I need it and with a small monthly fee that is all you pay for ---no charge for ink !

I purchased this for my mother this past Mother's Day and it was easy for her to use once set up. She is able to figure out the functions on her own though she is a beginner when it comes to technology.

This does everything I need very well. The only feature it doesn't have is double side printing. but my needs are low volume - so it is not a must have for me.

I bought it for my daughter before she went to college last year , she has been using it since then , very nice to have a printer and a scanner at the same time

. I like that it’s wireless, although I did have to set it up more than once, sometimes doesn’t connect. Paper jams are pretty common

The printer does not print very fast but I’ve gotten some pretty good pictures with it. Also the HP Instant ink subscription seems like a great value to me.

This scanner works but occasionally gives messages that scan did not work with your computer, so you have to hit scan again..annoying but it works and for the price good.
