I tried everything and finally had to call HP and get it replaced. I received my replacement and that one wouldnt even pull the paper straight to print. It jammed every single time! I called again and they sent me the second replacement. I tried it that very same day to make sure it would work properly. It did for a while and then it started printing so lighlty you could barely make out what was on the page. The printer app on the laptop is telling me there is still ink in the cartridges, but when I try to print something just in black and white, it will act like it is printing but the page comes out clean. I print what I need at work now so I dont have to mess with that printer any more.

I am terribly sorry that you've had such a hard time with the printer. However, I think we can fix it.
It sounds like it is not actually the printer that isn't working, but the cartridges. Assuming the vendor sent you full cartridges, it might be that the nozzles are clogged and you can try running the cleaning routine to clear them. Instructions are in this online document: support.hp.com/document/c04653371
