My old printer printhead went out and I needed a new printer. I had bought so much ink because I print a lot. The printer that used the ink was $200 and I did not want to pay that. I found this one on sale and have been thoroughly pleased so far.

If you want a reasonably priced, reliable printer that is simple to install and easy to use, this HP Officejet 3830 is a great choice

I needed a printer for my rv, and this fits the bill nicely. Quiet, capable, and wireless, with good, fast print quality at a price that couldn't be beat.

This printer was a great value. Took no time to hook up with easy touch screen guide. All wifi worked from all of my devices (asus prime, iphone 6 and 7, dell latitude). Also easy to use with the hp print app. Created an office word file and printed wireless with no issues. Was fast and quiet. Email to print was also easy to set up. It did take 1-2 minutes for the print to come through. That would be expected with a very slow internet nspeed as mine @ 2.0. The unit is not to heavy or big. Picture clarity and print color were also very good and ink seems to be affordable. (will see how far an ink cartridge goes) I have owned quite a few printers since the 90’s, from Epson, Sony, Dell and HP. All I can say is that I was pleasantly surprised. Will see how it holds up through normal use but so far a BEST buy for me.

As a teacher a printer is a total necessity! Of course we have our school printers, but my school only allows us to print in black and white, so when it comes to printing out my cute little items from TPT I needed to buy my own printer that would allow me to print in color (after all, my classroom has to look cute for my kiddos!). I read reviews online and knew going in that HP was hands down the way to go. It is the best quality for printers. When I got to the store the associate automatically tried to get me to buy a $300 printer and went through all the reasons why I should buy it. I wasn't about to pay that much just to print some colors copied for my classroom, so I asked about this one. The only con to this printer is that you can't load it with 50 sheets of paper. I believe you're only supposed to load it with 10, but do about 30 and it's fine. Other than that, the print quality is great and it's pretty quick too. I also recommend the instant ink. It is very helpful in keeping me stocked so I don't run out!!

Purchased this for my mother-in-law so she could print from her iPad Air2. Very easy and quick set up. Didn't give it 5 stars just because I don't know how well it prints at photo quality, but it's works great for what my mother-in-law needs.

I needed to buy a printer, scanner and fax machine after years using an old one. I bought this machine in the last minute since I decided to go back to school. I don't regret buying it! The instructions are clear on how to print any paperwork wireless. This machines comes with its own e-mail. Scanning a document is very easy. You have to be connected with your laptop or computer, though. For $80 was worth the price. Thank you, HP. I can relax now.

Other than having to search a youtube video to understand how/why the scanner feeder wasn't working (it was hidden and I didn't realize not the same as paper feeder), and a scan started at laptop conflicting with a failed scan started at printer, it's been great. Once resolved no problems. Fast start up and shut down. Prints fast enough, and scan has been very helpful with documents. I recommend for a simple ease printer.

I really like this printer. It is small but handles big jobs. It was also very easy to connect to my PC.

Bought this printer to replace 7 yr old all-on-one. Very easy to set up, wireless allows me to print easily from iphone or ipad. Great for printing documents and the occasional picture. Quality for pictures not as good as my Canon printer

I am not an expert; I'm retired and just do basics on the computer. I wanted something easy to set up and use, and low cost. This printer is what I was looking for and I am very satisfied with it.

The HP OfficeJet 3830 is one of the easiest set-up and operating printer I have had. Other than loading the CD software, everything else is basically automatic. You can send the "results" just about anywhere: PC file, e-mail, fax with no problem at all.

I purchased an Espinoza once, never again HP super easy to set up, change ink, and does not break down. Easy to link with phone.

It is a excellent opportunity to have a wireless printer very accurate, fast and economic.

I love the quality and the speed of the printer. My only negative is the fact that it turns itself off. Not to sleep. OFF. I try to print the next day and I have to go to the printer and turn it on and then print.
