Had a lot of trouble setting it up to communicate with my laptop. Had to use tech support help to get it to work. At first its print quality was horrible. After multiple printings the print cartridges had to be cleaned and was better. Was reasonably priced though.

I don't usually write reviews, but people really need to know about how crappy HP products are. This is my SECOND time purchasing this same printer and I had the same issue both times. The first time it happened I thought it was something I did wrong. Since the printer served me well for while, I bought the same one as a replacement since I had unused ink, and this was a grave mistake. I know now that it was not user error because my aunt in California (I'm in MD) had the same issue with their HP printer, and they're on their FOURTH HP printer. The printer works fine for the first few months-year. Then the paper roller stops grabbing the paper, so you'll continually get the "out of paper" error. I've cleaned the rollers, reset the printer, ran the troubleshooter and nothing. Online support is useless. There's no fix for this other than buying the replacement part, and the piece itself is not worth the price. I cant even attempt to fix it by aligning the printer, cleaning the cartridges, or cleaning page smears cause the paper wont feed through the printer & the printer wont do any of those things without paper. I've also had MULTIPLE issues where the printer would randomly stop printing in color, where the only way to fix it is to uninstall and re-install the printer and its drivers completely. I've had it with HP. I'm pretty sure HP makes their products with planned obsolescence so that they can make more crappy products and make money off of them. Do not waste your money with HP!!! Another annoying thing I've learned with my experience with HP is that if you sign up for InstaInk, they only allow you to use their InstaInk on the printer you ordered it from. Even though its compatible and you ordered it directly from HP, the new printer WONT ACCEPT THE INK because it was ordered for a different serial number EVEN THOUGH IT IS THE SAME EXACT PRINTER. HP is just out to waste your money. There are much better printers that are worth the money. Do not spend your hard-earned coins on pieces of dog poo like this HP product.
