I haven't used this printer a lot. So far so good is my current report. The printer was very easy to set up and the prints look great. Time will tell on how long the ink cartridges last. I have three students at home who love to print picutes.

I think HP is the best value across the board. This printer was easy to set up and works flawlessly.

I love this printer. I've had it about a month and no problems. Set up was quick and easy. Printing is a snap. I print a lot of family photos, scan documents, etc. This is a great all-in-one and for a good price.

I'm a non-technical person and this printer was easy for me to set up. I replaced an old HP Deskjet 1000. This printer is fast, print quality is excellent and the copy function works extremely well. I've only had it for a little over a month and I've had no problems so far.

Got this for our son for college. Very reasonable, super easy connect. Worth the money!

This printer is practical for both home and office. I use it in my office daily and it has proven to be a reliable printer, scanner, and copier. Print quality is very good. It also prints on cardstock because of the back loader. I would recommend this printer for anyone.

First off this is an great printer not the best but we'll wroth it, The only con if wifi connection problems, I have had 3 hp wireless printers and they all had the same problem, connect the printer by USB cable, and you won't have issues, you have no problems wireless printing from your laptop or tablet or phone, The fax machine works great after going to the ups store and sending 7 page fax and having to pay ups store 14.55 I decided it was cheaper to buy this printer and couldn't be more happy, you get 3 free months of hp instant ink, I pay 9.99 and get to print 300pages an month, if I need ink hp sends it to me for free, I have had others hp printer with instant ink and not having to pay for ink is an good send, some people write bad reviews because of the price of the ink well use hp instant ink and problem is solved, if you need an all in printer this is the one for you.

This is the second HP3830 I have in my home. Very easy to set up and wireless printing is easy. Print quality is good. Ink cartridges seem to last pretty long, but we do not print a lot so jury is still out on whether these printers are economical inkwise.

I usually buy HP printers, and this one went on sale so it was a good value for an all-in-one. Typical longer-than-I-would-like setup time, but I've grown accustomed to that. Printing is good quality although I have not tried photo printing. At one point, it lost the ability to print in color, so I had to call support to fix that. I don't know exactly what the problem was, but HP tech support was able to help quickly. I would recommend this for an everyday printer that also has scan, fax and copy capabilities. The wireless printing is very convenient. Only thing I don't like is the paper feeder, not as good a design as my HP 6960. However, that one will no longer print from the blue ink cartridge (after warranty, of course).

This printer/scanner/copier/FAX couldn't have been purchased at a better time, and has proved it's self almost invaluable. Long story...Reader's Digest version. My aunt passed away in May and my siblings and myself inherited her home. I moved in. I have found boxes and albums full of photos from her childhood on to present. We discovered right after Thanksgiving she had a son she'd given up for adoption in the early 60's. My family has now adopted him and his family into ours, and my scanner has been hard at work, He has a good idea now of what his birth Mom looked like, some of her active activities, like her trip to Aspen, her trip to Hawaii, etc. Thanks to this little HP marvel, he feels closer to her and closer to us because he's receiving information. Also, I have printed some of the old photos, and the HP prints so well, it's like having the actual photo. Beautiful and consistent color. I love my little printer. It does it all.

It was a little confusing trying to set it up with the computer in downloading the specific program and getting everything connected to the same network, but after maybe half an hour of attempts we finally got it to go through! It’s pretty straightforward to use from there, I like how it’s multifunctional at a pretty low price point (I waited until it was on sale for about $50, which happens pretty frequently! So keep an eye out for that). I was worried because lots of people have complained saying you HAVE to sign up for an Instant Ink subscription or you can only print so many pages a month. That’s just not true. You can decline the offer easily, and then treat it like you would an ordinary printer...just buy ink cartridges when you run out. I haven’t experienced any particular issues.

This printer is a bargain for the quality and ease of use. It is very easy to set up and connect to wifi for wireless printing. All I had to do was plug in the cables and start printing. great price...

I always use HP products because they're user friendly and affordable. I love the touch screen digital display and sleek design. The print quality is great too! I would have given it 5 stars had it not been so frustrating to properly install. The step-by-step setup is self explanatory and they made it super easy to transfer my HP Instant Ink account. I was printing in no time! However, I could not get it to print in color. Upon searching for a fix, I found that this is a common problem with this printer. After hours of uninstalling/installing drivers and software based on troubleshooting forum testimonies, I finally got her going! Now, I'm very happy with this printer and that is really my only complaint.

Easy setup. Connects easily to wifi. Connects easily to print from iPhone. Fast enough for home use. Top loading tray is nice. Fax is useful and will pay for itself by not paying $1 per page at an office store.

Great printer for budget minded prints copies scans perfectly

I have not had any problems with this printer. It is easy to use and has sharp printing pages in black or color print. It is easy to use in copying and scanning also. I have only used it once to fax because I really fax anything but it was easy to use.
