Overall a descent print but this is #2 that starts out great & slowly struggles to feet the paper & you have to get up & nudge it! Likely will be returning it under my extended warranty!

It is a VERY basic printer. It only connects to 2.4ghz networks, or a usb printer cable. It does wifi printing. It does not have a paper tray and only feeds through apacket feed in the top rear.

It's 2020, double printing should be an option

I really wanted to like this printer. It prints out pages quickly, never had an issue. The only downfall is it doesn't support double sided printing. After doing research they show how to manually print double sided. Who has time for that? Why is that even a thing? Its 2020, why is any printer being manufactured and sold without having a double sided option. Booo HP, I've been a loyal customer for years.

We purchased this printer for our daughter to take to college. The wireless setup steps did not work. So we had to opt to run a cable from the printer to her laptop.

Printer started showing ink cartridges low after not much of printing. Still having a hard time connecting wireless with laptop. Using printer cable. Ok printing wireless with mobile phone.

    Lasted a year

It was fine while it lasted...which was about a year. Very disappointing, because we didn't even use it that much. But the error messages became more and more frequent, and finally it stopped printing all together...the spools would spin and spin but wouldn't push the paper out. The scanner still works, but that's about it. *sigh* Someday I hope someone makes a home printer that actually lasts. Or, at least if it's gonna fail, that it fails before the end of the return window.

I have a lot of issues connecting to this printer. I find that I have to connect to it often. It can be a drag when printing. The speed is really slow as well.

Not even comparable to other HP All in 1 I had

The design of this printer is not at all convenient. You have to get down on your knees to see the ink cartridge compartment. It took forever to get the scanner up and running, mostly through trial and error because the online “help” was really not much help. The plastic housing is inferior quality and I fear the angular edges could crack if something bumped or dropped onto it. Not that I anticipate that happening, but it isn’t sturdily built. I would not recommend this product unless it is a secondary printer in your home.

This printer works great but the only issue we have is when it loses signal we have to reset it for it to connect back to our phone. But overall it works for what we needed it too.

Printer is average, not recommended if you do above average printing amounts...it’s a little slow. If your printing multiple copies it is slow, and challenging for double sided printing

I like the printer but I'm trying to figure out why it will not print color. I can see a shade of grey on my print copies but I need them to be in color. Not grey.

Printer works very well. Only complaint is that paper tray sometimes jams because of the angle it feeds into the printer

    HP Printer 3830

Hate to write a bad review but this has been the worst printer I have ever purchased. Should be a simple easy to use printer but have had to call HP help line twice for the same issue which was getting the color to print. Not just black and white. At this point I wish I would have purchased the Epson I was also looking at. Be wise don't choose this printer. Hopefully my bugs are worked out of it but to frustrating. Not a great photo printer either.
