    Repeated cartridge door open , carriage stuck and paper jammed when no paper inserted. I tried 5 times following instructions and the machine did not work. I returned it. I really wanted this printer

    I bought an inexpensive fax machine- just to fax not for anything else. It is incredibly slow- and it has problems even faxing anything more than 2 pages at a time. I'm returning to Best Buy.

    keeps having software downloads for no reason does not work on wifi all the time have to use hard line , that means I need to move laptop to printer gets paper jams a lot even with just 2 sheets put does a good copy only from a paper on the glass

    Ink cartridges stopped working in this printer after only 8 months. And yes, I was only using HP brand cartridges. I will never again buy another HP printer. They are complete junk.

    I do not like the vertical paper feed. Most of the time, the printer does not detect the paper and thinks it's out. Jams frequently. Also had issues with the scanner.

    This printer is just bad. Very cheap, keeps giving me a driver error, difficult to even load paper. I have owned or operated over a dozen printers over time and this is by far the worst.

    I hate this printer. It is always offline or requires me to remove and reinstall the software. Trying to print something can take hours. Scanning is worse.

    Our present computers were too old and therefore the printer would not work. We had to return the item to Best Buy. I will say that the return process was quick and easy. Thanks for that.

    Driver for windows 10 does do color.

    The printer worked fine at first and then the driver stopped printing in color. I don’t think it’s the printer but you would think that between MS and HP there would b a simple fix.

    No support. just FAQ and a community chat page! Paper won't feed correctly. Tried the solutions..I am going to throw it out the window and say see you HP! Sick of junk printers and NO SUPPORT GRRRRRRR

    It's true u get what u pay for. I return after 2 days. Tried faxing, had 10 pages, after page 6 said scanning, kept receiving error message and printing advising me fax wasn't sent. Tried again, same thing.

    I hate this printer! It would only print in color, temporarily, after reinstalling it. I'm so glad I bought the Best Buy warranty because I was able to get a different printer.

    This printer never worked. It would print the test page but all documents printed blank. My son had it away at college and never told me until it was too late to return.

    I guess you get what you pay for. This printer is constantly jamming, no matter how little the amount of paper in the loader. It works just fine other than that annoyance.

    I would not recommend this printer. It goes offline constantly and will not print. I called HP and it didn't help at all. I am actually going to return it asap

    Still have not been able to print anything color. Get the message "printer is offine" much too often. Also, the location of the ink cartridges is very hard to access.

    I don't use the printer very often, but when I use it I wanted to work, but the feeder stucks and every time I had to get the jam paper out. Not a very good product.

    I purchased my HP OfficeJet 3830 Wireless All-In-One Printer - Black because I am going back to school soon. This is a wonderful purchase and very user friendly. It's pretty cool that someone in another state can send an email to the email printer and it will print automatically. The quality of color ink is ok. Overall it is a must have. Best investment.

    Best Buy states this has double sided printing (duplex printing), but it doesn't. Wasted my money on this not noticing before return period was up.

    Worked great in the beginning until I need to replace the ink cartridges. Spent over $90 on the cartridges but cannot get them back in the machine! So disgusted.
