I looked for a all in one wireless printer to replace my older brother model and found this HP 3830. It was fairly easy to setup and has functioned well. It was a good value.

I like this printer so easy to use does use alot of ink though but super efficient and productive

Easy to set up (took me less than 15 minutes all told) and the quality of prints is entirely fine for home use. NOTE: the "Automatic" double sided scanning and double sided printing are NOT automatic, you have to to the whole project one side, then flip the stack over and do the other side. This was ALMOST a deal breaker, and NOT clear from the pre-purchase documentation, but my 2-sided stuff is relatively small in quantity so I can live with it. EXCELLENT price and my years of experience with HP all in one's suggests this will be durable.

I love HP printers and this one is almost like my other printer only different this one make me print from my phone which is awesome.....

This is perfect item i needed to scan all of my old pictures to my computer. It was my cheapest option yet one of my favorite trusted brands.

Bought this for light use at a secondary home when working remotely. Can not be beat for the $50 price tag. Loaded with features.

First, my background: I have an IT degree as well as certifications to include one specifically in networking. This is the worst electronic device I have ever bought and it would go back if I had kept the box. I love the printer when it works, the internal fax modem is great, and the automatic document feeder is awesome (so far). That being said, it will not work wirelessly, which defeats the purpose for me. At first, once it went to sleep I couldn't connect to it again until I did a hard reset. I could print from my laptop and everything would go to the printer queue and then print when I did a hard reset. Now, even the hard reset won't work. I have completely uninstalled all of the software connected with the printer several times and reinstalled using the HP software as well as trying the Windows Add a Printer option. I have also tried the Direct Print option, and nothing works more than once. Now, less than two months in, nothing works except taking my laptop in where the printer is located and connecting via usb cable. With the experience I've had so far with this printer, I expect the usb connection to fail any day. I checked for a firmware update but the printer is up to date with the latest firmware. Nothing in the HP forums has helped, and I don't have time to spend hours on the phone with support telling me to try all of the things I've already done before they tell me they can't help, I've been through that before. I know this is a long review, but I hope it will help some to choose a different printer and avoid the problems I have encountered as well as the wasted time and money I have spent on this printer.

Have been wanting a wireless printer for a long time. My son shopped with me, selecting and installing the printer. Love it!

I replaced my ink with the correct cartridge and have been receiving an error message almost every time I print (1 out of 10 times it'll print for me) that says it's not the correct cartridges (#63) BUT IT IS!! The only thing I can figure is that I bought them from a store and not HP online but that sounds weird and messed up. I went to HP online to bring this to their attention. I tried to send them an email through their website but I got a message saying that my printer was out of warranty (JUST out of warranty) and I would have to pay them to talk to me. I'm on a budget and thought to save about $5 by purchasing the cartridges from a store as opposed to HP online. I'm giving 2 stars (instead of 1 because I'm so angry) because it really is a good printer when it prints!!

Easy set up. Wifi printing works great. Bought in June 2016 and it is still working fine.

I have been battling an epson printer for over a year. I haven't had success with wireless printing and after updating software in an attempt to get wireless printing working it won't print because I was using generic ink. I found it complicated to use, as well. This HP printer is a delight! So easy to set up, use and prints color photos with much better color than the Epson. Very happy so far.

This printer does everything that I need it to do. Very happy that I purchased this model.
