Okay printer- had a problem no one could fix

Then I started getting a notice that the scan to computer was unavailable, then the printer was offline when I tried to print. I couldn't figure out what was the problem. So I got online with HP and got a case number and finally got thru to HP tech, who assured me they knew how to fix the problem. After a 45 minute call, I was assured that I was fixed. Within the the hour I got the scan to compute not working message and printer would not print. So I called back, got someone else, who knew how to fix the problem. Again this didn't work and I called back a third time, and that didn't work either and I was done and returned the printer and got a different brand of printer, and am not having any problems. I have always had HP printers, but now own a Edson.
