Hoping Printer # 4 Is Durable and Long-Lasting

I've had a 6510, two 6520s and now the HP Officejet 5740. I only use my printers for personal purposes therefore, I don't understand why the printers didn't last longer. Possibly, you can explain it to me. One of your associates told me it was just bad luck. That answer really didn't instill any confidence in me as to the overall quality of the HP printers. Since I had an "extended warranty" on the 2nd 6520 I exchanged it for yet another HP printer - the Officejet 5740. We will see about its performance. So far (only two months) it's working fine. Thank you!
