You really have to consider the cost of the ink cartridges to justify a printer purchase. This one is around the the median cost for most printers with the same features. It has a built-in wifi broadcaster so that you can print pretty much from any compatible wi-if device without need of cords. Pretty awesome. Set up might be a little confusing but just keep working at it and you will figure it out.

Great for wireless printing, scanning, copying

It may be activated from the printer LCD touch screen or via the computer for completing a wide range of tasks, including printing digital photos. We have been very satisfied with this so far.

Have not used it that much but I do like the printer/software package. One issue I have is that is does not always pick up the paper and will just keep trying and not give an out of paper message, I much be doing something wrong, but seems like a basic issue the printer should prompt me to correct, was never an issue with the Cannon-- that is way I gave 4 stars.
