This printer is great for my daughter to return to college. She has used the copying, scanning, printing and she love the printing from her Memory Card.

My only complaint is that the start up documentation that comes with it is not very robust. A bit more about the how and why of the printer would be nice. The info is online, but when you're trying to set it up it would be good to be there in print,

Bought this printer to replace an HP that did not work all that well. This one is great. It works well, prints cleanly and always connects quickly. The only thing I wish it had is a manual feed.

Not able to figure out how to scan into my computer and the instruction manual only gives instructions on how to set up a fax even though the printer does print, fax, scan, and copy. Getting help from HP is difficult and the instruction booklet is of now help.

Sets up easily. Works great with phone, tablet and computer on wifi. Also easy to set up scanner. Haven't set up fax but will do so in the near future.

Love the size of this printer. The solid black color is very nice and the quality of the print is great.

Very reasonably priced with many features. Set up relatively easily although it took a while to find the home wireless network. Wireless printing works fine. Regular copying and use of automatic feed also work well. Have not yet tried other features.

Not 5 stars - It sees my iMac... but i cant get it to print from my HP pavilion laptop; - as when I try to print 4x6 color photos.. it prints on to regular paper... (it may be operator error)

I haven't use it to its fullest potential. Because of the holiday we haven't been doing much on the computer. I'm looking forward to printing pictures and other project. So far it has been working very good for us. We just need more time.

I purchased this multi-function machine mainly for it's scanning capability. The install was very difficult. The instructions included details for setting up printing and fax functions, but no mention AT ALL of scanning feature. I tried downloading the driver from HP's website but this didn't work. I finally uninstalled all printer software and reinstalled from the CD included. This resolved the issue.

This is a great printer (HP5740) for a start up or college student. It is a bit slow on the printing for my business purposes, but like i said great for start up. As my business grows i will definitely upgrade to a much faster printing product from HP.

No issues so far. Setup and wireless connection were relatively painless. Have only used it a couple of times in a month, so I have no comment upon long-term quality or durability, but for simple, quick wireless printing, everything seems to be fine.

The printer set up easily and works like a charm. My laptop had no trouble finding it on the network. One of my favorite things is that it has the combined color ink cartridge and not the 3 separate yellow, magenta, cyan cartridges.

Very easy to start using this printer. Instructions are easy to follow. I love the fact that I can print from anywhere in the world.

Printer was easy to set up on the network. It is a little slow and noisy but once it starts to print it is fast.. Faster than my last HP printer.

I bought this after an exhausting search for a new printer. Had Nothing but trouble from Lex-mart and Brother printers, Won't ever buy those again. This was what I needed and so I bought it! Price point was fair all things considered.

I usually buy more expensive printers. But I put myself on a budget this time. Along with the printer I purchased a software, a sound system, anew computer, plus a few more items. I was exceeding my self imposed budget, so I purchased a lower price printer. It works like a champ, I can't tell the difference between the printing of this computer and the print jobs I have done on much more expensive computers.

When my old printer/scanner quit, I knew that I wanted another HP, but had no idea how much better this one would be. Simpler interface, double-sided multi-page feed, and built-in scan to editable text? What's not to like?

I had a different name brand printer that was outdated and seemed like I just kept running out of ink so quickly, so we decided it was time for a new printer. Since we got this HP it's been great on ink and love the color.
