I have to replace this item twice in a year, and the 3rd freeze or the delay to print is just amazing

Let me start out saying that I prefer a dentist appointment than to writing a review. I takes a lot to get me to praise or criticize. Went out in the sub-freezing snow to rid myself of HP printers once and for all. I was tired of being 'nickle-n-dime'ed' for ink by my own printer and accused of installing a counterfeit. Walked in for a Cannon, walked out with a HP OJ Pro 6830 with an Instant Ink program (I'm very independent, not an impulse-buyer, and hate subscriptions of all kinds)!! The HP Rep (Jeff) on site was was excellent, no pressure and simply changed my mind. I could pick at +/- of the spec's, but as an engineer, I knew specifically what I wanted in function/value. This printer serves my needs exactly. I am tired of worrying about stupid ink consumption. While more expensive/page than if I managed it myself, given my consumption volume, my annual cost was less than a single complete ink reload, and it is delivered to my door. Life's too short. Done. The store sales reps were not into printers (no surprise there), but the HP Rep, Jeff saved the sale. The BB Sales Rep couldn't price match their own BB website, and later the BB Rep on the phone could see my purchase, but couldn't find my Sales Order # (!) to refund a $10 price adjust. The Assistant Mgr., Tom Stranix went out of his way to make just another customer (me) feel valued, issuing a store gift card worth much more than my $10 adjust. In a digital age it is all too easy to purchase in the internet vacuum, losing the human touch. I had had not been "sold" but I had simply changed my mind when I walked out of the Wilmington BB (#465), buying a Brand I had decide against, a service plan I had not considered, paying more than I had intended, getting an excellent piece of equipment, and was glad to do it! Thanks.

Purchased this and immediately tried to install--would not work and I contacted support. They agreed that there was a problem of they own making. Despite this, they would only replace with a refurbished model. Returned to Best Buy and immediately purchased replacement. A very poor quality product with terrible support.

I've already had to have a factory replacement sent out to me after half a dozen technical support cases.

Exchanged the first printer. Still can't get wireless or AirPrint to work. Even had geek squad try to no avail

So far my new printer has been just what I needed for home and work use.

This printer has been replaced by HP twice due to problems with printer heads. I rarely use if now.

I purchased this HP Office Jet Pro 6830 and joined the instant ink program. The first replacement HP black ink cartridge leaked, and now no black ink will print. I've been having an issue since this cartridge was put it and now their solution is to buy another printer direct from them (HP). I will visit my Best Buy store and ask for help.

In spite of keeping up automatically with all the latest drivers, the printer works for about a week or two, then quits printing. I spend hours with HP service help going thru the same troubleshooting activities, get it fixed, then it quits again! Ready to trash it and find a printer built after Windows 10 was created - if there is one.

Adding doc's to print, you have to place one sheet at a time. Very annoying for a Paralegal

This is poor quality trash. First one lasted me two months. HP sent me a REMANUFACTURED replacement which also was a piece of junk. I am on my third one now in less than 6 months. I will never buy another HP printer again. The quality has gone way down hill. This happens when you move your manufacturing to some fourth rate country.

Purchased in December 2015. Have not even printed 10 pages black and white and now will not print. Gives print head malfunction message. No fix other than to call HP. DO NOT BUY

Bought printer... Got print head errors within 4 months. Thanksfully, I had bought the Geek Squad protection. So I swapped it out for another one. Same model. It's been about 8 months and now I'm getting the same print head error. So I will be taking this back to get a new one. DO NOT BUY!

Have had a lot of issues trying to get printer to work

Bought 2 of them loved it until 6 months in with one of them error message, but HP sent me a different printer to replace. The second one same error message after 10 months. returning that one too

When will HP build a printer that operates after system updates? Went through all suggested HP, and Microsoft trouble shooters, and updates to no avail. I am going to try another manufacturer.

I have only had this printer for six months before it started getting paper jams when printing multiple pages. Single page prints fine, but second page now always jams. This is a huge frustration

I bought this in 2015. Only used a few times, and before you know it is was getting an print error. After further inspection I found ink all over!!! Boo! I won't be buying this again.

The scan part of the scanner broke within 20 days. It no longer takes paper from the top feeder. Only 15 day return policy. Poor product.

Easy set up. Excellent price. Love it. It does everything I could hope for. Scanning, printing, copying are all a snap to complete.
