This printer, scan, fax, copier is exactly what I needed for my home office. HP does not dissappoint, but the 4 individual ink cartridges get rather expensive. Wish it were an all-in-one ink cartridge.

bought this printer after reading good reviews, and after only one month and just a handful (no more than 25 pages) I am now getting a "print head" error and this thing is a paper weight. I've even tried googling the error and restarting the printer and still no luck....and this happened on the one day that I really needed something printed. I'll be taking this paperweight back in to the store.

have always been a fan of HP printers. bought this printer so i could take advantage of the instant ink program. haven't even started it yet because these cartridges last longer than my old printer.

I purchased this printer on sale and it's been great. I chose this printer because it only needed one black and one color cartridge. It also feeds several pages at once, which saves you time by not having to lift the lid each time to copy several pages. I love HP printers and would make the purchase again.

I am glad that i paid the extra 10 bucks for the best buy warranty. 6 momths after buying it, i kept getting an error and best buy replaced. It runs great and does not use as much ink as my last hp.

HP Printer was a replacement for our older one. Worked fine, but then one day it stopped working. Contacted HP support on the phone and they sent us a free replacement under the warranty.

It last 3 years and now I'm having trouble with print quality.Not sure if I can return after 3 years.

I have always bought HP printers and been very satisfied with them. That is the main reason we went with and HP printer again. It has all the functions I need for what I use a printer for.

This printer met all my needs and more. My daughter has been using it for a school project and I have been using it for some work stuff. Having individual color ink cartridges is a win win, Too many times I have had to throw out multi color cartridges when they are still half full. Thanks.

Slow to start printing and we have had issues with its communication with the pc. Slower than our previous Epson printer that we bought in 2005.

I have always purchased HP printers. The speed is slower than expected and the wifi connection is too cumbersome. I almost wish it was not wireless. This printer may be returned soon.

Young man that helped me purchase this knew exactly what I wanted. He made sure that I knew features for this printer and that I had everything I needed to set it up and run with it. I am one of those that forgets something he made sure I had everything before I walked out the door

This printer is never fast nor reliable. Wireless but needs a lot of hand holding and tech support to get things to work. I've spent 10 to 12 hrs on phone with Geek Squard n Best Buy to get this setup and within 10 days, it's offline again. It has a software glitch that's not even resolved by HP or BestBuy. I will avoid HP products in future. It's a reason they're always on sale - they're no good for high volume printing!

We really like the printer, but had to wire it to the modem rather than use our wi-if network. The instructions are terrible! This included using the cd that came with the machine. By contrast one week later I installed a Canon for my mother in law using the Canon cd and it was simple! It even set up the settings automatically. Someone at Canon understands how to make installation simple. After that I nearly retuned th HP, but had it working after 4 hours of installation I had enough time dedicated to the stupid machine.

Our experience with it started out kind of rough. Colors weren't true, pictures dark with cloudiness. But after playing with it a while my wife got it to work to her expectations. Seems like there are a lot of settings you have to get right, but she is excited about it.

This printer lasted less than a year; while it was working, it was great and reliable. The problem was overuse, according to the Best Buy manager I spoke to; evidently this printer is best in light use only. It was the "printer head" that failed, but I was told that it was less cost efficient to repair than to replace the entire printer; luckily, I had purchased an extended warranty (however, you may need to note that my warranty did not pay for the increase in price as I had purchased the printer on sale.

$180.00 suggested retail, $65.00 on sale!! Wireless function is seamless. 10 minute setup. Does more than you could ever need. Scan to, features are great with desktop control panel. Still exploring all the options. HP help and self diagnostics also incuded.

I am very disappointed with this printer. I purchased 4 over the last 4 months, and all 4 had to be returned for warranty because the print head displayed an error on the screen of the printer. I would not recommend using this in a business. The print head is a separate unit on this model, and it is just not properly designed. I have stuck to the printers that have the ink head on the cartridge that way it gets a new head every time I change the ink. I have used HP for years, but this one I would avoid.

item didn't work when i got it and i wold only advise to buy if you live close to a store

It was a debate between this one and two others. Finally settled on the HP 6830 Office Jet Pro wireless and it has proven to be the right choice. Prints well and is the perfect size -- the other would have been too large. Very happy with this new printer.
