The printer overall is great! It prints faster than my old one and the colors come out great. The only con with the printer is that the ADF scanner produces slightly misaligned scans. I've tried everything to get it to straighten out. My roommate was so annoyed with the very slight misaligned that he refuses to use it. If scanning perfectly straight is not a 100% priority, definitely get this.

The HP Printer was on sale making it a good deal to start with. It is reasonably built to last for a while, and perform well for a relatively inexpensive unit.

This was an employee recommendation when we visited a local Best Buy store. We had intended to buy a more expensive printer; however after explaining our needs, he informed us we could get this printer for quite a savings. So glad he was there and gave us this info because he was right, it does the job for printing college papers and saved us a bit of money.

I stayed away from HP for a long time because of one reason or another. After using a few other printer brands, I concluded that HP was probably ready for another try. I chose the Officejet Pro 6978 based on reviews, pricing and what looked to be a good fit with my printer needs. I've used all the functions and have found the 6978 was easily set up, easy to operate and it functioned as advertised. Good job!

It has good print and the wireless works well. It’s not the prettiest printer.

I really enjoy this new printer. I was hesitant at first, as it seemed a little intimidating (I am not the most savvy computer person). It prints well, doesn't have any issues. The feature of HP knowing when your ink is out, is very nice. You do have to sign up for it, but they send the ink before you run out! I print a lot and don't often have the time to stop and get ink. Very much worth our $$

This officejet printer meets my needs perfectly. It's quick to print, and easy to use.

Pros: This printer was very easy to set up for wireless operation from phone and laptop. Print quality for documents is fine. Copy function also works well. Cons: It is bigger than some printers, yet the paper catching tray is not automatic as it is on my Canon. The picture I tried to print came out with streaks. Hoping to resolve this, but it was disappointing.

This was my first wireless printer and I was com earned about setting this up with my IPad. But it only took about ten minutes and I was printing right away.

This was easy to set up, but my old computer system still tried to pull up my old printer when asked to print....called in the Geek Squad, problem solved. I was very sorry to get rid of my old HP Photosmart, and to add insult to injury I had just bought and replaced all the ink cartridges. A big loss to my purse because the new printer is only a wee difference in size. Wow what a kick in the face, or pocket.

Fast printer, easy to assemble. Great for printing out PowerPoint slides and notes!
