Great printer works well for every one in the family wireless. Print quality good

I had high expectations that this would be a great wireless printer for the home office & school assignments and for the 10 pages it printed, it worked well. It will no longer power on. When it did power on previously, it was noisy and slow when it was warming up.

For an all in one printer,which is a replacement from my 12 year old HP all in one, this was an affordable and easy to set up purchase. I have been very pleased with the HP printers for many years.. The only negative is the cost of ink.

This printer was easy to set up and to use a printer copier and fax machine.

I had an HP printer over a decade ago but for some reason switched to Epson due to good reviews. The printing went bad on each of them after a little over a year and maintenance never worked completely. This HP printer has been great and I signed up for the HP Instant Ink program with it which keeps me from ever worrying about ink and is much cheaper.

We wanted something wireless for all devices we have. It works great! We had one device we couldn't get to connect and called HP for assistance. They dialed into our device a fixed it online. Great service from HP. We also signed up for ink cartridge replacement and it is amazingly easy to get replacement and return by mail. The value is way better than buying cartridges from the store.

This printer is fast and the printing quality is great! Using the HP Connected and HP Ink is even better. The printer monitors your ink usage and automatically orders more ink from HP that comes directly to your door. All info about the printer can be viewed on your HP Connected account including how many pages printed and estimated pages left with the current ink cartridges. It is awesome!

easy to install , works great really happy with the printer

The HP OfficeJet Pro 6978 Wireless All-In-One printer was easy to set up. The print quality for text, maps, and pictures are very good. It's significantly quieter than the ancient HP printer it replaced. Ink depletion is faster than the older HP printer using standard (not XL) cartridges. Four (4) star rating because it's long term reliability is TBD.

This works great to scan, print, copy, and fax. User friendly.

The HP 6978 was recommended by in-store salesman and seems to be doing what it is supposed to. Prints nicely in black and white or in color. Copier and Scanner functions perform well too. I don't use the Fax feature. I did encounter some difficulty in getting the device properly registered, but support by telephone got me squared away. Not sure yet if I like the E-Ink supply, we'll see.
