We don't print a ton so it was good they have this model on the cheaper end. Only takes a while to get going hence the reason for 4 stars, besides that works as intended

This is a very good printer for the price.

The scanner function routinely loses communication with the computer, but if you close all applications and restart everything it comes back. I have never had this type of issue with my Officejet 8600, and the 8600 is much faster and more quiet when when printing. I purchased two of these 6978 printers on sale, and feel I got what I paid for.

Best Decision Ever

I love that it has a screen and you can tell if you are out of paper, if it's jammed or you are out of ink. It will literally tell you where to look if the paper has jammed. I am able with my purchase and would buy it again.
