Great printer

My only issue is watch out on HP printers that you don't sign up for the ink program. It automatically signed me up when I registered my printer,, yes they ship the ink for free, but if you go over the amount of pages it cost quite a bit. I accidentally put in I needed 50 copies of a document, when I only needed 5. That put me over.

Good iteration on a solid printer line

I had a previous version of this line of OfficeJet, a big exception being that it didn’t have a document feeder. So I did some research, decided this was a similar great printer with a feeder now. I find the feeder a great edition. Scanning multiple sheets is fantastic. Overall a great printer.

No Problems So Far
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had replaced a perfectly fine canon multi-function printer with this HP, just because the overall experience wasn't great with canon. The ink was too expensive and didn't last long, and the software and support were lacking. For a couple months now, my wife and I are really enjoying the ease of function with this printer, and have been quite happy.

Wonderful printer

Can't say enough about how much I love my OfficeJet Pro 6978. And at age 79, if I can figure out how to make multiple 2-2 copies of documents and my back to back handbell sheet music, so can anyone! Best Buy salesperson took time to explain all the details. I set it up at home myself!

The speed, reliability and print quality all meet my expectations and needs for a price that came to 80-something after trading in my old HP.

HP - sleek, super lightweight

I bought this printer because the one I had for more than 7 years broke. This printer is super light in weight, but the print speed is slower when compared to my old printer. Will recommend this printer. Prints are clear, colors are nice.
