I got this as a printer to use while working from home. I quickly realized it was more than a great, fast printer. The scanning feature became far more useful than I would have imagined. The remote, wifi abilities also make this the all-in-one to have.

I love my HP OJ6978 it's a work horse. I have a home office and printer a fair amount and have had quite a while with no problems. setup is easy, the admin tool works great. changing the cartridges is easy, I use duplex printing and have no complaints. I would recommend this printer for anyone who works from home or even college.

I purchased this unit to replace an existing HP printer which was having problems. I wanted one with individual color cartridges based upon past experience with both individual and tri-color cartridge printers. This unit is the first I have seen where the installation instructions ware almost all pictures except for the final connection to the system. My 8 year old even had fun telling me which strap or tape to do next - since she read the directions to me, all went well and we had a bonding experience. The website completed the setup and the printer was online. It has been working well for the past few months.

This inexpensive device performs printing and associated functions like copying, scanning, faxing very reliably and at a fast speed. New features like printing from cell phones, printing remotely via the internet, and automatically ordering ink when the internal supply runs low make this a significant improvement over the home office printer it replaced.

This is the second printer of this series we have, and it works very well. We replaced the old one (over 4 years old) because it was starting to glitch and my wife needed a new one for work.

Found printer to be easy to set up, easy to use and quiet. foot print is smaller then my last HP printer. it could have a larger screen to navigate printer/fax/scan options as well as a SD port but that is just preference. so far it works good Print quality is good. still think printer cartridges are too expensive for all printers!

Bought this printer to replace an old Kodak one. It’s perfect for what I need. Great quality printing and the wireless printing is seamless.

Hooked in to my wireless network very easily. Print speed is pretty good. Quality seems good for lower price printer however I haven't tried to print any photos yet. It keeps losing the shortcut for scan to email which I use often so I have deducted a star for that. Scan quality for my use is good. I don't do an faxing so no comments. I like the instant ink program.
