I've had this printer and put it to use for about two months now. Every function seems to work as advertised. It replaces an Epson, which was a big disappointment. This HP works for me. Although it's too soon to tell, I think I like the ink deal, too.

I HAVE ALWAYS PURCHASED HP PRINTERS, I HAVE LOST TRACK OF HOW MANY I HAVE BOUGHT OVER THE YEARS . THEY WORK LIKE A CHARM AND ARE VERY EASY TO SET UP WHICH IS IMPORTANT FOR ME AND MY SMALL HOME OFFICE.

Prints are great quality, photos look like they were painted, documents print in seconds. 2 days after purchase, got an email stating the unit is now obsolete and discontinued.

BOUGHT THIS FOR MY MOM TO USE AND ONCE INSTALLED. I CAN HAVE HER PRINT ANYTHING FROM ANY PLACE IN THE WORLD BY SENDING THIS TO HER PRINTER. ALSO HELPFUL FOR ME TO SEND PRINTOUTS TO HER INSTEAD OF EMAIL LIKE BOARDING PASS, ETC

A bit complicated to connect & program, replacing an older version 6700

HP 6978 is working perfectly from computers, phone app, email printing. The app is really good when you can fax documents with you cell take pictures of documents and done. Self maintenance cleaning.

Printer has a lot of features that work great including wireless printing, scanning to email, scanning both sides of a document and auto printing on both sides of a sheet of paper. Only downside would be that when scanning a picture the quality is sub-par.

Mostly love this new printer. Sometimes the menu is a bit confusing. Otherwise, love the paper cassette, airprint, quality, etc.

Great product very good quality for the price. Very easy to install lightweight and an overall great buy. I’m very pleased with this purchase.

This printer was easy to set up and works quite well with some pretty impressive features. The low quality of the housing, and the questionable squealing sounds the machine makes, tells me however that the lifespan of this product may be short.

Overall this is a very good printer. It is reasonably compact and fits well on a shelf in a home office. Wireless printing works very well. The fact that it has separate color inks is a plus. The only down side is the lack of a separate photo paper tray.

We purchased this printer to replace an earlier HP printer. Our old printer was starting to jam up, smear ink, and make a lot of noises. It also was going through a lot of ink cartridges. This new printer has all the features we had on the earlier printer plus automatic paper feeder and two sided printing. Considering the cost of replacing the ink cartridges, the new printer wasn’t much more expensive than a set of ink cartridges. The new printer is a lot quieter. Although I hate getting rid of the old printer, it is really cost effective to just go ahead and buy the newer technology as it isn’t worthwhile even trying to repair an old printer.

Great purchase so far. Super easy setup and I love the fact it prints 2-sided prints! Best Buy really does have Great Buys.

My old non-HP printer failed on me and it was time to shop for a new one. The team at Best Buy was awesome in helping me narrow down my choices. This HP printer is perfect for my home office and personal use. The installation was a breeze and the software (i.e. scanning utility) is simple and intuitive. Performance is great so far, I'm very happy with my choice. The HP Connected Ink program is amazing as well. When my last non-HP printer died, it left me with unused print cartridges which I had bought previously as I hate running out of ink. Lost investment on that. The HP Connected Ink program will ensure that this never happens again and will have ink at my door before I run out and I no longer need to stockpile my own cartridges. Kudos to Best Buy and HP for quality product and solution!

Pretty fast printing for everyday home usage, would recommend to a friend.

As always, another fine product from HP. Set up is easy over the home network and wasn't difficult to deal with. Could use the ability to set user profiles for language and such. Does not seem to be supported in the windows mobile version of HP AiO

Bought this printer on sale, it was very easy to set up and fax and print and copy. It prints very fast too, which is a plus! A huge plus for me is that it prints double sided very easily, thus saving paper ! Great printer and ink costs are average!

We are not a heavy user, but wanted a printer that would be dependable

Needed a new printer and saw this one on sale. Not much of a difference between this model and the next, only $10. So far so good I haven’t had any issues and I’ve printed envelopes, business cards and the standard office prints.

I have always purchased HP computer products, this one seems fine so far.
