Very pleased with this printer and with the Instant Ink Program.

I bought this printer for my kids and I don't regret it. It creates high quality prints and creates high quality scans. Plus, when it prints you don't have to wait long. It's fast!

The printer is serving it's purpose. I'm pleased with my purchase.

Great printer! Excellent quality printing and very fast. My only complaint is I had to replace the ink within a week, not sure if it was dried out or just that empty.

It's a really good deal for a printer that does all you can really need from a home office one. It's not the fastest in the world but the accessibility is great. Works over WiFi and you can even email it and print things.

Fast printer in both color and black printing. Like that it does two sided printing automatically. And while I don’t use it a lot the document feeder makes scanning more convenient, especially two-sided scanning.

This printer is junk. I purchased for my business. I don't do a lot of printing, mostly labels and also use for some scanning. It goes through ink like crazy. You can not use any ink expect HP ink or the printer will not function. In addition to going through ink like water, it doesn't print nice. I attached a picture of a label document I use for my business. I printed one on label paper and one on a plain sheet of paper. You can see those two pages are not in alignment. This has cost me hundreds of dollars. Labels are very expensive and on average I print about 5 sheets to get one usable one. The scanner is also not great. It doesn't matter if you scan from glass or using the feeder, the scan is never straight. Bases on this purchase and the lack of support I have received from HP I will most likely never purchase another HP item again.

Have only used a couple of features, and systems works well. It takes a long time to set up when I turn it on to use - goes through all kinds of machinations to prepare to print. Print quality on plain paper is good. I primarily use B&W.

Replaced a Canon PIXMA 700 series that died after a couple of years of light use. This printer works better, has cheaper operating expense, and delivers faster printing of better quality.

Bought this for scanning documents when needing to work from home. Does a great job and have had no issues, except the USB port doesn't want to work with any flash drives. Not critical but I know it's some sort of firmware issue.

This is a good printer, fast and great color. This is my second just like this and I love the Instant Ink option.

The HP Officejet Pro 6978 is a decent printer for under a $150.00. The output print quality is quite good. The replacement ink cartridges are affordably priced which was a major deciding factor for me to buy this particular printer model.

I got this on sale for Black Friday and I gotta say it’s amazing I use it to print stickers and it hasn’t failed me yet

Most of the time, I wouldn't call myself tech savvy. From start to finish, setting up the printer and starting to use it took less than 20 minutes, and I was going slow. This is the easiest printer setup I've ever done and it works great.

Great all around printer with low operating costs. Easy setup and useful pricing model around the toner whereby you don’t have to pay fir the toner itself but for the number of pages you print Worthy product

We walked in, bought it, and went home and installed it. No problems, works exactly as we expected, and connected immediately to our home network. What more could you ask for? Okay, yes the price was right as well.

the printer and scanner were reasonably easy to setup and use. It was very annoying that they continually tried to make me sign up for automated ink replacement and made it hard to get out of it.

I purchased and installed this for a client who is absolutely in love with this printer. Uses it daily for print, scan, copy in a small office environment. Tells me every time I see her how much she likes it.
