Works OK, difficult to use

Setup (Windows 10 and my Android phone) is a pain with instructions that are both unclear and complicated (and I am an IT professional). Some are not correct and some lead you to the HP web site which continually tries to force you to enroll in their automatic ink program and to set up your printer for access via the internet - which is a really bad idea if you care about security. Using the printer from Windows is straightforward Using the copy and scan functions is via the device touch screen and is not straightforward even after a month and several hundred pages of prints and copies. I still am not clear on how to scan to a pdf - and of course accessing the manual is via the HP web site which tries again and again to get you to enroll in their ink replacement program. Printing photos has serious limits - you have to pick a particular size. Loading paper is also awkward. The good things about the device are 1) everything does work, albeit sort of and 2) the print quality is good. And did I mention the automatic ink replacement program? I might give it three stars if it lasts.

Great small office printer

The only reason I gave it a 4 is because I have not had a chance to use the FAX feature. I am sure it works just as well as the other features but I did not want to comment on something I have not tried. This is my 3rd HP printer over the years. Obviously I have not had a problem with the printers or I would not continue to buy HP. Not only is the product great, but the HP people I have contacted over the years have been, courteous, helpful and take time to understand the problem and fix it. This is not to say I have had a lot of problems because I have not. HP is a great company.
