setup was a breeze and this thing is fast too. I like the ink program for 2.99 a month I get 300 pages a month. HP sends you ink when your printer tells them it needs ink.

We have had many printers, but this one has been the best. The quality of the pictures is very clear and vibrant. I highly recommend this printer for home use!

This HP printer fills all my printing needs. I like that it also comes with a personal email address to send reports over the web and have printed remotely.

Purchased the HP OfficeJet Pro 6978 Printer because the sheet feeder on my Epson WorkForce Pro WF-3720 was no longer working, and I regularly need to scan multiple-page documents, and it was reasonably priced. My advice? Save your pennies for something better. Preferably not HP. This isn't the newest model printer, but even at 4 years newer than my Epson, it take much longer to scan/print. And I'm constantly having to fight with it because I have no interest in signing up with HP - so I've had to remove/reconfigure the printer on my work computer twice so far, and just use windows native printer drivers. Ultimately, The OfficeJet Pro 6978 did accomplishe the sheet-fed scanning that generated the purchase, including two-sided scanning (which is impressive), but I probably should have really put it through its paces before I was running out of time to return.

Prints quickly with good quality. My only issue with the printer is the wireless connection to my computer is difficult to use during scans. But this could definitely be user error too.
