bought an hp printer. the value was good and i was happy with the ability to install it. i hope it lasts longer than others i have bought in the past.

This printer does everything I wanted. It even prints pictures very well.

Has great color printing, easy to hook up to your phone , iPad, computer and so forth, I use it constantly it even comes with free ink.

I am not computer savy; however, this printer was so easy to set up I couldn't believe I did it without needing to call the Geek Squad.

I'm always skeptical when buying a printer because everyone I've had breaks too quickly. I've had this printer for 4 months so far and everything is perfect.

We had to replace our 8600 HP printer because we wanted a printer that was enabled for the HP Ink replacement program. The new 8700 series is a little bigger and would not fit in the space allocated for a printer. Therefore, we downsized our model to the 6978. If space wasn't a constraint, I prefer the 8700 series. The build quality is much better and ink levels are easier to access, making the higher price worth it. However, the 6978 has been doing the job so far, but I am just concerned that it won't hold up as well. We print about 500 pages per month.

So far this is one of the best printers that I have had thus far. The set up was very easy and I would highly recommend this printer.

Printer doesn't always stay connected to computer. Have had to use the USB to print a few times. After it connects it works great. Nice prints and fast.

I have used two HP 6940 printers for over ten years. When both of them finally gave out (though not major failures) it did not make sense to pay $65 apiece just for the repair diagnosis. I studied the 6978 machine and decided it was the BEST value and had the most to offer a home-based business like mine. The best improvement is the fact that HP has an ink replacement program that sends you ink BEFORE you need it. The machine also comes with all four inks so do not buy any more if you plan to subscribe to the HP program. It's only $9.99 per month for 300 pages printed.

Just what I needed. Easy to use and automatic refill ink supply is a big plus. Never run out of ink anymore.

Print from iPad or iPhone using Wi-Fi connection with no issues. Printer allows you to print, copy, scan, and fax. Amazing printer.
