Compact size is a plus
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.We had to replace our 8600 HP printer because we wanted a printer that was enabled for the HP Ink replacement program. The new 8700 series is a little bigger and would not fit in the space allocated for a printer. Therefore, we downsized our model to the 6978. If space wasn't a constraint, I prefer the 8700 series. The build quality is much better and ink levels are easier to access, making the higher price worth it. However, the 6978 has been doing the job so far, but I am just concerned that it won't hold up as well. We print about 500 pages per month.

OK for the money
