    I bought this printer to replace a 6520 that I had never been really happy with because the paper mechanism sometimes made loud ratcheting noises. This printer makes noise, but nothing that you wouldn't expect from a printer. The autofeed for making copies and scans works great as well. It can even handle 2 sided copies in the autofeed.
