If you are looking for an inexpensive average printer to get the job done then this will do the job. Heavy users may want to consider an alternative printer.

Good all-in-one for the money. Cartridges are a little pricey though. The good think is that you can use the XL cartridges is this for black & all colors.

Like it so far. Don't use it much. Somewhat disappointed when I realized it doesn't have photo printing.so far so good

Cannot get printer to shut down after a certain period. Had contacted HP and they supposedly corrected the problem but they did not. When I reset the program, it still doesn't shut down after the designated time.

I print very little, but scan a lot of documents to keep as pdf files. This printer has the capability to scan to USB which I use often. No problems with set-up and hooking up the wi-fi.

I’ve used it for some time now, no issues at all. I hadn’t used the fax though

only an ok printer, a hassle to set up on network, if you can get it going it scans and prints just fine.....

This all in one works for nearly everything. I haven’t had any issues with it, aside from having to replace the ink a little sooner that I anticipated. Otherwise, HP wins again. Great product.

I've been looking for a multi-function machine for a long time. Along comes the Office Jet 6978, and my wife and I have gotten a lot accomplished, thanks to HP! I've never been disappointed with HP products!

I purchased this to use in a home office. I needed the sheet feeder for scanning, color printing and fax. I wanted a small foot print. I found this printer is working well for me. So far, I am very pleased.

First time for a wireless HP with tiny ink cartridges. Replaced a Brother laser ‘wired’ printer that worked great. So wondering how long before cartridges need to be replaced

Prints very well, but has a hard time keeping wireless connection to our laptops. Could be setting related. Need to spend the extra time to setup correctly.

I am very pleased with this purchase. I did however run into wireless connectivity issues that I have since resolved. If it continues to be an issue there is always the option of a wired connection.

Purchased this a year ago, and added the 100 page ink plan. Still going strong and use it almost daily. Very pleased with this printer

Purchased on sale. Printer works great and print quality is excellent. Gave 4 stars as set up was challenging getting wireless printing running. HP has always been my printer of choice

Takes too long to be ready to use when turned on. Cannot use wireless from my pc without attaching to printer. But does work wireless with my phone

This was a purchase made to replace the HP Envy. We are very satisfied with the purchase. This printer uses 4 cartridges but they last longer than the one cartridge for the Envy which we need to replace too often.

This printer is great quality for the price. We shopped around for weeks and with it's great reviews and simplicity, it was the best choice for us. It was well worth the wait!

Seamless, works perfectly with WiFi, so easily to pronto from the cell phone, table and laptop. It’s just that is unclear how much ink it does consume for moderate monthly use.
