I purchased this printer to replace an old printer. I found it easy to set up, and the quality of printing, including photos was fantastic. It prints both sides of the paper, so beware of that, if you don't want that need to change the setting. This is far the best printer i have owned

I updated an older printer that stopped reading new ink cartridges to the HP OfficeJet Pro 6978. It is very simple to install, automatically syncs with your network and prints quickly and clearly. Would suggest to any who are looking for a great printer for a home office.

This with the monthly plan has been awesome. The plan is so cheap I don't mind using up my printer ink for once. I was about to buy another Epson, but they had a trade in program where I got money back for hiving my old one up. This printer was super cheap after all said and done for awesome features. I love the auto feed for scanning. It saves me a lot of time on documents and feels just as professional as our big Ricoh machines at work. The print quality is awesome. When I ran out of colors, it automatically switched to gray scale. But HP sent me the cartridges before hand. I just wanted to see if it truly operates like that and it does. This should last me a long time. I recommend this printer a lot. Good for work and office printing. There is a larger model too if you need to hold more paper.

This printer prints crisply and clearly, and was easy to install. It was economical in cost and a good value. It prints quickly and quietly. Definitely a good purchase.

Our old HP wireless printer/scanner was murdered by our cat; he liked to attack the paper as it moved through the printer. So, we went to Best Buy and found the newer version of the same printer, went home, and printed. No fuss and it self installed on our network. Great machine.

This is the third time I’ve bought this printer. One went in my daughters dorm room, one in the house and now a new one for my apartment. It’s easy to use, sets up quickly and is very reliable. It lost a star because I hate buying ink... I wish ink was cheaper.

This is a pretty good printer, The set up was nice and easy, layout of the buttons is nice and simple. The printing and scanning features work flawlessly also.

I have had this HP printer for about a month or so and is the first wireless printer I've bought. The setup was pretty straight forward. I also set it up to print via my smartphone. Compared to my older HP printer which died this one is faster and more efficient and I love the wireless feature.

I have had this printer for over a year now and it serves me well , from printing my son's homework to scanning work related documents. It is remotely connected to my laptop and I can print stuff from any room in the house. I have not had any issued with it at all.

Printer is easy to set up. Works pretty fast. Holds lots of paper inside and in feeding tray. I wish they made a cartridgless version ink is so expensive nowadays for all printers but at least for this one you can buy individual colors if you use a lot of one color.

Bought this printer 'cause my other HP (14 yrs old) finally died. The price was right but in true HP fashion, the ink was almost the price of the printer. Anyway, installation was simple, although I did not choose to do wireless. Direct Ethernet was all I wanted for now. My old HP had been able to have direct Ethernet and wireless at the same time, but oddly, not this model. Not sure if they are all this way anymore but it seems easy enough to change over to wireless. I followed the instruction card to install this and then went and checked for and downloaded a couple of latest updates. Took about an hour tops. Also downloaded the user manual. Can't expect to have that come with the new printer. Works nice so far. We'll see how much mileage we get from the ink. This is just for personal use but when you need it, you need it. Bought the Geek Squad 2 year replacement also. You never know.

I like this printer. It is relatively easy to use, both the printer and scanner. Everything I have printed and scanned has turned out good. My only complaint is that there is no instruction book. We had to go online to get one. It would be nice to have a manual that is easier to access.

This printer is excellent. We use it for almost everything as far as sending fax and printing.

Our old printer died and after a lot of research both online and in store I decided on this printer and it is great. The ability to scan multiple pages and the quality of the printing is excellent. I can also print remotely away from my home which is a great feature.

I got this printer to be able to print from my phone and tablet, due to my pc being ooc. The connection process was a bit of pain, I had to do it multiple times, but after figuring it out, this printer works great! I can even print when I'm not at home, definitely 2 thumbs up!

The office jet was simple to set up wirelessly and use. I was able to print directly from my mobile phone right away. I already had other printers, which I still use, but wanted a wireless one. So far, it's working great. Good quality prints. My family uses it regularly. Happy I bought it.
