The printer is always saying it is offline. According to HP, they recommend turning off the printer and turn it off again. Does not work. Have to turn off computer and printer and restart both. Also the print from email is hit or miss.

Nice printer. All things were good. However, I wish it were faster. There is an issue I saw when feeding paper for a copy, which was a line showed up on the copy. But that was probably some kind of defect that can be fixed with adjustments.

I picked this up on sale as my last HP bid the dust for no reason. The only issue is that it is not compatible with some of the older operating systems which in turn made me have to purchase a new computer which I really needed anyways.

I've had it for about a month. Had to unplug it twice so far because it froze up. The touch screen stopped working and the off button would not even work. Unplugged it and it reset and worked but I'm worried I make a good choice.

Average printer. No premium features for the price range. Does not scan to email, which the box says. Big time disappointment as I bought the printer for completely wireless capabilities. Will return.

When I am printing emails it doesn’t give an option to print only 1 page instead of the whole string on multiple pages. The printer also does not have a way to put in a thumb drive to print out saved information.

The setup process was very challenging. And, there is quite a bit of acrobatics you have to do just to get a human to assist you.

Printer was easy to un-box and set up, except wireless print driver configuration was not very clear. I ended up being directed to a driver update program that resulted in a charge to my credit card.

Newly purchased but sometimes doesn't always print when prompted and have to hit print icon a couple of times. Also, ink that it came with already needs to be replaced? I don't even print that much.

This was an expensive option that is overkill on features for what is needed. This was purchased due to lack of other, more appropriate choices/inventory at BB.

Most printers in this price range are the same (meh). They are made as cheaply as possible, because HP makes it’s real money on the endless ink refills. Aside from drinking ink, it works fine.

This printer works fine, the ink is cheaper than other printers, but some areas is not the same as more expensive printers.

Average HP printer with usual issues

Ink jet printers are just slow. Average for inexpensive, home printers. Screen prompts confusing and difficult to get used to. But it works. Sometimes prints in black and white instead of color unless menu adjusted manually.

The HP Office Jet Pro 6978 all-in-one Printer has good color picture printing compared to my previous Epson but it is very slow at printing, turning on and off, and getting it to connect to the printer right away.

Connecting the printer to the network was a challenge, There is no user manual to help you, I am not a tech expert which made connecting a bit of a challenge. An owners manual would have been a help.

What you would expect from an hp printer. Broke and had to replace. Warranty covered and hp service was responsive, but they make you do a million tests before they believe you that it is broken.

Don't buy this if you have a Mac and Monterey

If your running a Mac with the Monterey operating system. Do not buy this all in one. The printer works just fine. However the scanner is non-functional outside of the HP Smart software. It appears that the software does not load the driver into the Image Capture library for the operating system. If probably only print a couple of dozen pages each month. But, scan on a daily basis.

Once it got working, it was fine. But it struggled to connect to my existing wireless because it claimed my password was incorrect, even though it wasn't.
