Broke in Under a month
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Printer started acting up not even having it for a week. Would read that it needed paper loaded when it is full of paper and would not print. Then would constantly say there was a jam when there wasn't one. Then it started just reading an error message. Had to contact HP directly and had to talk to them for over 2 hours for a new one to be sent out.

Posted .Hi Joe,
I'm sorry this happened to you. Obviously, it is not the kind of customer experience we like to see.
Here's hoping that the new printer is sent quickly and you can get back to printing again.

Harder to use than old printer
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. There's no internal photo tray making printing photos a pain. No user manual is lame. I don't want to go on line just to learn how to use it

Not necessarily a good office printer
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Had this printer less than a month. We've used less than 1 ream of paper. All the ink cartridges have already needed replaced. The ADF (Automatic Document Feeder) has never properly scanned any documents. We purchased this printer on sale, and we can only assume that the reason it was on sale is that there was very little interest in this model. This model may work fine for a home office, but not really practical for a true office environment.

decent printer but now can't use non-HP cartridges
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Slight issue in that documents scanned via the document feeder are a bit misaligned unless the guides are pushed very snugly against the documents. More frustrating new issue is that a recent online update to printer now prevents the use of non-HP cartridges. HP charges roughly the same price for a new set of cartridges as the printer. Won't buy an HP printer again.

When it's working properly it's great
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. When it's working properly it's great. That being said I've had to uninstall / reinstall the software / print drivers many times because the scan to computer stopped working or the device was showing offline even though the printer is online.

There are others on the market that are better.
