    This printer is horrible. Have had to remove and reinstall drivers multiple times. Frequently must turn wireless off and back on in order to print, and it still may not print. Very frustrating. Too expensive just to throw away, and I dread spending 2-1/2 forevers on hold waiting for tech support.

    These are awful machines. We pushed 3 for a small business. Both stopped printing within a week. We have punched HP products for years. However, I also purchased another laser Jet which will not work properly due to the poor software. I have consistently purchased HP. But these are the last we will purchase for a long time..

    I’m extremely disappointed in the quality of the printer breaking after only two months with very light use and VERY disappointed in Best Buy and how they handled it. They will not handle the warranty on it. I have to go directly through HP.

    Returned this - thankful I had purchased the warranty. Worked fine until the cartridge needed to be changed. I bought an HP one but it would print. Now I have a full unused cartridge. Second HP printer- last one for me

    I would not buy this product again. I have had good luck with HP printers in the past but not with this one. Always seems to be cleaning, and when you try to print to it or scan from it, it might take 20 minutes to connect. Had this 6 months and probably going to buy something else already once the ink runs out again.

    Cuts off on printing or prints crooked. Very frustrating as I just purchased it. Not worth the money.

      First, I recommend that you follow a guide on our support site to document feeders that pull through too many pages at once or fail to pick up any paper at all. I realize this doesn’t specifically describe the problem you face, but I believe it might provide some insight. Find that guide here:

      If the problem persists, I suggest that you contact us directly at +1 800-474-6836 so we can help you assess what’s happening and find the best course of action. To expedite the process, I recommend gathering the following information before the call:

    This printer seems to always have an error. I had to keep purchasing multiple print cartridges to try to clear an error. By now, I should have just bought a new printer.

    This HP printer worked for 2 months and will not print any longer. Printer error reads printer failure. Did everything website states to clear problem, No resolution! Stayed on the phone for many hours with customer service, and they still cant fix it.... Will never buy any other HP ever again!!!!

    A week after the guarantee was over, the printer stopped its functions. I changed the inks, but nothing happened. It was impossible to keep the printer alive. I bought the same printer for a second time to use my old inks (they are new ones). I hope this time this printer don't be suddenly dead.

    This product has not worked since I bought it I have contacted HP and I now would like to return it and I am informed that I cannot. The black ink has never worked and I have replaced the cartridges twice. This is a piece of junk

    Already stop working. I got to take it back to store. Making a loud noise, printing is only printing part of the page, scan not working.

    I swore I would never do HP again. Wish I would have listened to my gutt. Piece of junk, constant print head cleaning and cheap plastic parts just breaking in my hand. Stay away!

    Constantly Breaks

    This is my 6th HP printer. I have never had issues like this before. It doesn't ever seem to connect, and when it does it won't print. It drains through ink faster than my suburban drains gas. Currently it will not connect at all and HP support has not done anything to help.

    I was very unhappy when the print head had problems after only 3 months of use. I needed it badly and am stuck waiting for a rebuilt one to arrive.....not even a brand new one.
