good overall home printer, easy to setup. I also like the instant ink option

Easy set up and so far I like the “ink Plan” that automatically sends me ink.

Love it! I came home and it was a super easy set up. Connecting it to my Mac via the network was so easy and it’s not as load as most small printers.

I just purchased. Easy to hook up, install. Time will tell. So far is good.

I needed a new printer and scanner. This one was reasonably priced and very easy to set up. I scanned in the code and got the link for wireless printing on my iPhone. Super easy. The print is clean and the color printing was really nice.

Have not had any problems with this printer. It was easy to install and use.

Print speed is much better than previous printer and copies are good quality

This printer replaced an old all-in-one from a different vendor. We like the smaller footprint and have always been happy with HP printers. We use a USB connection rather than wireless and found the 6978 pretty easy to set up, although the minimalist instructional graphics fell a little short when it came to inserting the ink cartridges. We're still using the cartridges that came with the printer so don't know how long they'll last; we don't do enough printing to make using the Instant Ink service an option. We are very pleased with this purchase.

I bought this to replace an HP 8610 that decided to stop working a couple months past warranty. This was on sale, and was the best deal on a printer at the time. My wife is back in college and needed to print a lot of things, so I had to get one ASAP. There's a couple of things I don't like about it. One being that the ink cartridges it came with ran out of ink really fast. Another is that there are no 3rd party replacements for the HP 902 ink at this time. I had to run out and get all four cartridges, which cost as much as what I paid for the printer. I honestly thought about just buying another one instead of replacing them. On the good side, the printer prints fast, and the quality is very good.

Needed a printer that copies, scans, prints and faxed and this works great!

The printer is very good and easy to set up. The printer prints quickly with quality prints. The scanning, copying and faxing are also pluses when it comes to this machine for the price. Highly recommended and it hasn't let me down yet.

Needed to replace a broken higher end unit with something that was a little smaller. This fit the bill due to smaller size. For less money, this has been very reliable and works great with the HP replacement ink program.

Excellent printer that doesn’t use the more expensive ink of HP’s photo oriented printer line. I chose this model because document printing produces great quality text. Scanning using the automated feeder makes scanning documents a breeze.

This is a good printer. It is much quieter than my previous HP All in one.

Recommend this for mid-level printer for users. Print quality is excellent!

This printer does exactly what it is advertised to do. Text is clear and sharp. Have not printed photos so I cannot speak to that. I like the duplex printing and the scanning and copying capabilities. I also like the ink on demand. Definitely saves me money

Happy with the printer very easy to install - prints great and scans so easily. Best Buy had the best price about $100 less then competition
