I bought this printer for my dorm room and it is perfect. Doesnt take up a lot of space and has all the functions you could ever need as a student. Easy to set up and easy to use.

Very easy to set up. I am extremely happy with this printer. I especially like the new instant ink program. All in all, the copies are great. Scanner and fax are great too!

I purchased this Office Jet Pro 6978 as a replacement for a photo printer that quit working. This one is efficient, wireless is quick, quality of print is great!

This model OfficeJet Pro 6978 is very similar to an HP printer I owned previously (the Pro 8600). I was quite satisfied with the operation of the other model and this one has most of the same features and works very similarly. I especially like the double-sided printing and the Wi-Fi option to be able to print from anywhere or any device. I had one incident while copying a document on the flatbed using the touchscreen display on the printer itself. The printer stopped midway through the operation and displayed a message that it was doing some maintenance and not to interrupt. 48 hours later it was still doing "maintenance". Couldn't find any help in the troubleshooting guide for this situation. I finally just turned it off. When it rebooted it worked fine and haven't had any more problems with it. Other than that one incident, it has performed well. I am satisfied with the printer and would still recommend it.

This printer is very simple to use and the quality of the printed pages is excellent. I've use it to make copies also and I am very pleased with their quality also.

I’m very happy with the service I received in the store and with this printer. I was a bit worried about setting it up at home by myself. However, the service rep assured me it was user-friendly but if I needed help to give him a call. Happy to report I didn’t need help!

Very easy to setup and use. Quality of printing is excellent. I am not a "techy" but found it very straightforward to establish a Wi-Fi connection. Colors are vibrant.

My Epson printer finally gave out. Had been looking for a replacement and read about this HP-6978. Other than being a bit loud, it prints excellent and fast.

Good printer so far. Easy to setup using online software connection. Wireless setup was a snap as well as setting it up to connect to multiple devices in the house.

This printer practically set uitself up. Installation was easy and the printer worked properly from our laptop and I phones. Aand it makes very fine quality prints

I was looking for a printer with the feature that when you run out off ink you can still use the scan/copy function. I previously own a espon workforce and I was unable to scan/copy document without the color ink without the ink the printer was useless. So I decide to find a printer and HP allow me to scan/print documents without ink. I was so happy and glade I bought this printer. It was easy to setup on my phone and also on the computer. 123.hp.com/setup was all I need to setup my iPhone and computers. I didn't even touch the CD included. Over the printer is great so far. I will update if anything changes. Thanks

Easy set up, decent quality, good price. All my Mobil devices instantly recognized the unit. The starter ink seems to be larger than others I have bought, I’m up to about 20 color and 50 b/w copies and still have over 25% left. My only issue is the speed. In fact that’s the same issue I’ve had with all printers I’ve bought. It just does not produce at the speed that it’s advertised, especially in full color, it’s not even close. And I bought this unit because it was “faster” than couple of more expensive ones that I considered. I’m realizing that to get speed in color you really need to invest $500 +

I’ve always bought HP Printers, and always satisfied with the quality of the units and printing capabilities . Love the size of my New 6978 HP printer.
