This printer practically set uitself up. Installation was easy and the printer worked properly from our laptop and I phones. Aand it makes very fine quality prints

Good printer so far. Easy to setup using online software connection. Wireless setup was a snap as well as setting it up to connect to multiple devices in the house.

I’m not used to technology living up to its billing (sometimes it’s my own fault), but this wireless all-in-one does everything I ask it to do, quickly and neatly.

My Epson printer finally gave out. Had been looking for a replacement and read about this HP-6978. Other than being a bit loud, it prints excellent and fast.

I was looking for a printer with the feature that when you run out off ink you can still use the scan/copy function. I previously own a espon workforce and I was unable to scan/copy document without the color ink without the ink the printer was useless. So I decide to find a printer and HP allow me to scan/print documents without ink. I was so happy and glade I bought this printer. It was easy to setup on my phone and also on the computer. 123.hp.com/setup was all I need to setup my iPhone and computers. I didn't even touch the CD included. Over the printer is great so far. I will update if anything changes. Thanks

As a senior I was anxious about setting this up on my own. It was almost shocking how simple it really was. So, so easy. Good print quality and easy to use.

Very pleased with this all in one printer for typical home and office related printing, copying, scanning and faxing. Very easy to use and provides a very good print quality.

This printer has been fantastic. Easy to set up and use even if you are not tech savvy. It does everything you want in a small, easy, efficient home printer.

I decided to switch back to HP printers after taking a chance on an Epson printer that was on sale during the beginning of the pandemic (a big mistake). Frustrated with its lack of performance, I decided to go back to HP products for consistency, ease of use, and an auto ink replenishing program. The 6978 is a workhorse and one that I'm glad I purchased for my home office. I will only purchase HP printers going forward,

Easy set up, decent quality, good price. All my Mobil devices instantly recognized the unit. The starter ink seems to be larger than others I have bought, I’m up to about 20 color and 50 b/w copies and still have over 25% left. My only issue is the speed. In fact that’s the same issue I’ve had with all printers I’ve bought. It just does not produce at the speed that it’s advertised, especially in full color, it’s not even close. And I bought this unit because it was “faster” than couple of more expensive ones that I considered. I’m realizing that to get speed in color you really need to invest $500 +

Replaced a 4 year old unit which was a few model numbers less. What a difference (good)! Quieter, faster, easier to set up, and uses less ink do the Instant Ink feature.

The printer replaced a unit that fell on the floor. It was easy to set up and the print quality is much better than the old unit. Great buy for the money!

The printer is a good value, but it delays the print request.

The pages print with great, high resolution and brilliant colors. The challenge for me with this printer was installing the software properly on an Apple with an OS X El Capitan operating system and no disk drive. I needed the help of an HP phone support rep because the drivers from the online download were not installing correctly. The workarounds were too many to list here. This was obviously not Best Buy's fault. HP needs to improve the downloadable driver for this printer or at least post detailed instructions on how to install it online, since installation is far from straight forward.

I’ve always bought HP Printers, and always satisfied with the quality of the units and printing capabilities . Love the size of my New 6978 HP printer.

This printer does it all. I am using this printer for my office and is performing super. Always a good choice with HP

Needed to replace my HP7350 all in one as it was long in the tooth. The 6978 configured easy with my iMac and wife’s MS surface. Prints great. Decent price.

The printer was very easy to set up. We only use it wirelessly and it was easy to connect devices. Print quality is very good, but a little slow and loud in processing.

Love this printer. It is quiet. It prints on both sides of the page which my old one did not. Ink is better priced than my old one. It is wireless and works great.
