Very pleased with this all in one printer for typical home and office related printing, copying, scanning and faxing. Very easy to use and provides a very good print quality.

Replaced a 4 year old unit which was a few model numbers less. What a difference (good)! Quieter, faster, easier to set up, and uses less ink do the Instant Ink feature.

Very good printer/scanner. Has been used quite a bit for kids' schoolwork and projects. Clear printing and works well wirelessly.

The pages print with great, high resolution and brilliant colors. The challenge for me with this printer was installing the software properly on an Apple with an OS X El Capitan operating system and no disk drive. I needed the help of an HP phone support rep because the drivers from the online download were not installing correctly. The workarounds were too many to list here. This was obviously not Best Buy's fault. HP needs to improve the downloadable driver for this printer or at least post detailed instructions on how to install it online, since installation is far from straight forward.

Needed to replace my HP7350 all in one as it was long in the tooth. The 6978 configured easy with my iMac and wife’s MS surface. Prints great. Decent price.

The printer was very easy to set up. We only use it wirelessly and it was easy to connect devices. Print quality is very good, but a little slow and loud in processing.

Easy to set up even for a non-technical person. Printing is clear and colorful. I believe it would cost me several hundred more dollars to beat the value.

Love this printer. It is quiet. It prints on both sides of the page which my old one did not. Ink is better priced than my old one. It is wireless and works great.

We are completely satisfied with this HP6978 printer as it prints black on both sides with absolute clarity and also with color. Document loader is excellent and printing on both sides is excellent!!! The few colo papers we have done also look great! Downloaded Manual is also fantstic and has been used many times as a learning aid to the features of the printer.

This printer is wireless and it copies and scans beautifully. I also bought the instant ink that is delivered before you run out. Very reasonable price as well!

Great all-in-one printer That has good quality two sided printing, scanning and copying that also faxes. It is a large printer so keep that in mind if space is at a premium.

Got this one to replace HP that went belly up. So far I really like it. Print work is excellent. Speed is better than HP, a little smaller unit as well.

Printer exceeded our expectations, was able to add a fax to the printer, wife made all the necessary connections, does what we need it to do! Good printer for the price!

Setup wasn't as easy as I had hoped. There is a lot of functionality added by the software and it is more integrated than it used to be for older printers. Double sided printing AND scanning is very helpful and sooth. Once the first page prints the speed of the rest of the document is impressive. You can actually send an email to the printer complete with attachments and all will print. You can print with wifi through a router, through a usb cable, and directly to the printer wirelessly. Fairly quiet. The price was very competitive.

I love this printer. I bought it to replace the exact same model which served me well for 3.5 years. I use the scanner and printer functions. I do a lot of printing. Best Buy tech team helped me get the printer installed to the computer as I had trouble figuring out that part of the installationThey were also most helpful.
