Easy to install. Hope the ink lasts longer than past printers. Best for low to medium volume printing. Low profile printer fit on small shelf.

When our older printer ended its service life and became unreliable, it was back Best Buy, In the couse of doing research, Icame upon this Office Jet Pro at an excellent price with all the features we were looking for! Document feeder, atomatic duplex printing, scanning, and copying -- all features we use a lot! The decision was made, and the old printer went back for recycle, the new came home and was up and running and registered for Instant Ink in tenty minutes. Great printer, and great srvice from Best Buy.

I have very low print volume, but I do need a reliable printer and scanner. I bought this 6978 to replace a 20 year-old HP All-in-one that I loved because of its durability and reasonably quiet operation. My limited experience with the 6978 has been positive. It connected to my wireless router quickly and without problems. The installation software ran smoothly. It prints with good speed and quality, so I'm happy. My main concern is the tiny ink cartridges. I signed up for the HP Ink program, so I'm hoping the costs stay down.

Printer works great, easy to set up and gives good quality prints. I use it wirelessly most of the time and no failures in the two months I have used it.

As much as I am starting to enjoy the printer now the initial set-up was a less than ideal situation. Right out of the box it wouldn't align the scanner after printing out a test page...it would not recognize it. Secondly, I could not get my phone to sync up to the printer...I have a Galaxy S21. I spent too many hours downloading drivers and trying different connections, but it seems that the 6978 isn't on the list of printers that can be controlled by a smart phone. However, I did download the HP Print Service Plugin which does work with my phone...albeit in limited capacity compared to what the HP Smart app can do. I was finally able to get the scanner to work but never with HP's 'alignment' technique. Everything appears to work like it should now, but it should have never taken that long to set-up. I reached out to HP for help, but they had no phone lines available, and the virtual chat option was a joke, so I resorted to Facebook Messenger which wasn't much better since it took them nearly 2 hours to respond. The product is nice and works well once it is in operation hence the 3-star rating.

Love all the features of this copier. Scans and copies like a dream, photos come out with rich colors, and the wireless feature is a HUGE bonus!

the printer does it all it's fast. it prints great looking copies. It so user friendly to setup and use. this was a great addition to my home office.

Bought this printer about 3 weeks ago. It was very easy to set up with our mac. Prints well, we are happy with ease of uses and features.

Printer was easy to install/ Set-up. Prints quickly and quality of print is great, both black and color pages. Printed a photo it had beautiful color.

Last night, I went to help a family friend install this device. When I got to her house, She unboxed the printer. She removed most of the packaging and gave the printer to me. Once I plugged in the printer, User installed the cartridges (she couldn't believe how easy this was), she clicked on the screen wifi symbol, enter the wifi password, and waited a few seconds. Printer was then added automatically on her MAC and life was good. This user is 82 years old. Great job HP on making it easy for a non-computer person.

Prints well, and scans very well, including 2 sided scanning. I find it useful to use for maintaining my records. Also prints photos very well.

It was easy to set up. I like that you could feed many copies to be ran off, not just one at a time. The printer also made nice pages.

We love this printer! Easy to set up and to use. My grandsons frequently need to print out, scan and email and this printer makes those tasks so easy!

I haven't used my new printer yet a lot but when I have it has been so much better than my old one. The colors are sharp, crisp, and it was easy to install.

This printer is my first wireless one, and I really love it. It’s easy to connect and use. Not super fast though. The price was great!

This printer is easy to use and fast printing. The ink seems to last a little longer and is a little cheaper than my previous printer

My Canon printer bit the dust so I needed a new printer in a hurry. This one was on sale and the reviews for it were excellent. I have to agree. This printer has performed flawlessly since installing it. The printing is terrific, quick, and legible. The copy feature works very well as does the fax. I recommend this printer highly.

Easy to install, but a little loud when printing. Would have liked a disk for installation but instructions were clear for installation
