When our older printer ended its service life and became unreliable, it was back Best Buy, In the couse of doing research, Icame upon this Office Jet Pro at an excellent price with all the features we were looking for! Document feeder, atomatic duplex printing, scanning, and copying -- all features we use a lot! The decision was made, and the old printer went back for recycle, the new came home and was up and running and registered for Instant Ink in tenty minutes. Great printer, and great srvice from Best Buy.

Has all the features we needed at a very affordable price. It was easy to set-up and get the wireless connection, even printing from our mobile devices (iPad).

I have very low print volume, but I do need a reliable printer and scanner. I bought this 6978 to replace a 20 year-old HP All-in-one that I loved because of its durability and reasonably quiet operation. My limited experience with the 6978 has been positive. It connected to my wireless router quickly and without problems. The installation software ran smoothly. It prints with good speed and quality, so I'm happy. My main concern is the tiny ink cartridges. I signed up for the HP Ink program, so I'm hoping the costs stay down.

I have not used it very much, and have not yet used it for photos, but everything else has been excellent. It's quick, easy to use and excellent print quality.

Easy to install. Hope the ink lasts longer than past printers. Best for low to medium volume printing. Low profile printer fit on small shelf.

great product, print quality good, easy set up! I just installed the cartridges, put in the paper, and connected to my pc and it started right away...

Bought this printer about 3 weeks ago. It was very easy to set up with our mac. Prints well, we are happy with ease of uses and features.

Love all the features of this copier. Scans and copies like a dream, photos come out with rich colors, and the wireless feature is a HUGE bonus!

Does what it says. Price and features are excellent. The only thing the adf could be a little faster, but nothing that wasn't advertised. If you want something that works as it says and is a lot cheaper than most comparible products almost twice its price, get this product especially when on sale.

the printer does it all it's fast. it prints great looking copies. It so user friendly to setup and use. this was a great addition to my home office.

Last night, I went to help a family friend install this device. When I got to her house, She unboxed the printer. She removed most of the packaging and gave the printer to me. Once I plugged in the printer, User installed the cartridges (she couldn't believe how easy this was), she clicked on the screen wifi symbol, enter the wifi password, and waited a few seconds. Printer was then added automatically on her MAC and life was good. This user is 82 years old. Great job HP on making it easy for a non-computer person.

I purchased this printer in October and it continuously will spit out the paper not printed. I have been turning it off and back on and sometimes this will fix it and other times not. It prints great but just having problems with not printing all the time.

Printer was easy to install/ Set-up. Prints quickly and quality of print is great, both black and color pages. Printed a photo it had beautiful color.

It was easy to set up. I like that you could feed many copies to be ran off, not just one at a time. The printer also made nice pages.

Prints well, and scans very well, including 2 sided scanning. I find it useful to use for maintaining my records. Also prints photos very well.

Had to return the first one I purchased because there was an error with it thinking the printer was open. Once I got the nondefective printer it’s been working great. Easy to set up and easy to use. Ink doesn’t run out quickly but I also don’t print very often. Specifically ordered this one for its doubled-sided capability.
