This was one of the most impressive displays of GREAT customer service I’ve experienced in my over 60 years! I have had okay experiences with the BB near my house but use this store that is on the other side of town from me because of the customer service. In this case, I got the notice within 1/2 hour that my printer was ready to be picked up, I drove into the curbside pick up area and literally within a minute or maybe 2, a very nice young woman brought the printer to my car quickly and was pleasant and wished me a very good day and gave me some type of compliment. I am sure the store had to be extremely busy but the transaction happened as if there were no other customers but me! Really great experience.

I print checks (8.5 x 11) from the top tray and tabloid from the bottom. It is very convenient and simple to use. There is also a tray to pull out to catch documents as they print. It is not easily seen in some of the photos.

I bought this to create glossy prints of photos to use for art. Works great! Beautiful prints and easy to install. Only downside is newest firmware doesn’t allow third party ink cartridges so I didn’t install that.

Setup was an absolute breeze, and for the price, this is going to be extremely hard to beat. The only downside is the instructions are nearly impossible to get without creating an account and registering the product, which I consider borderline extortion.
Print quality is quite good, but beware - the ink is quite expensive. If you're running a business DO NOT get the cheap stuff. Pony up. Get the HP ink. Just suck it up and do it right.

The printer was easy to set up and has great options to set up. Fast start up on the first page. Take less area in the work space than my last HP all in one printer.

Lots packed into this printer scanner. I love having two trays for letter and legal size paper. And, the scanner works like a charm. Best part is that it is compatible with our Mac mini and MacBook Air. I’ve learned the hard way that all printers are not Apple friendly. We had a n hp 6600 all in one. After updating our operating systems, our computers were no longer compatible and I could not find any support from HP online to identify the fix. No drivers worked.

Best 11x17" AIO Printer

The HP OfficeJet Pro 7740 is one of the few 11x17" All-In-One printers. If you have larger than 8.5x11 items to scan or print, this is the AIO printer for you. The build quality, scan and print quality are excellent. It also has a Fax but I haven't tried that yet. I needed a scanner and printer that would work for genealogy to save larger documents and to print out family trees. The ink is modular and easy to load but a bit pricy. Still, I have not yet run out of the ink that came with the printer. Also, it stands a bit tall but two large trays and a scanner is worth it.

Perfect printer to 11x17, fast enough for an inkjet printer, good quality prints. The only bad is the size of the printer, it's huge.

What this printer does, it does very well. As an office oriented printer, it's not as user friendly as some, but its output quality is superb. It even is very good in photo mode which is way above part for office printers.
The only negatives are the lack of a bypass feed slot and typically overpriced HP ink. Since I got it on sale under $200, that buys some ink.
All told, a bargain for a wide format printer.

I've had a Samsung, Epsons and Cannons but this is my first HP printer. The documents I've printed look better than on my previous printers. I've not printed any photos. My only beef is that to replace all of ink cartridges costs half the cost of the printer.

WIDE-FORMAT HP 7740

This is our second wide-format HP printer. We like this one more than the first because it has TWO trays. This saves us time using regular paper and making switches to all other sized stocks. The original paperwork for setup is sketchy, but once you are past the initial setup it works very well. No issues with the Wi-Fi connection. Quality machine. Does not qualify for the HP automatic ink replacement program.

Excellent wide format printer for the money. I had a similar earlier model for the last 4 years which worked great til a few months ago when it just froze up and the only way to reboot was to pull the plug. After trying updates and trouble shooting that didn't fix the problem, I finally broke down and bought this new one. Soon after, I got notice that support was no longer available for the old one so I guess that's as long as it was designed to last. Hopefully this new one will last as long or longer. Still a good value for the price.

This continues to be the cheapest large 11x17 flat bed printer/scanner that HP makes. We print about 100 full color pictures a month and this will last about 3-4 years so get the extended warranty if you plan on printing this much. It's worth it and easy to replace.

Large in this case is beautiful. Plenty of room for paper and it gets the job done for home use also. I got tired of those cheap 99 dollar printers making you change paper every fifteen minutes so I decided to go with the Industrial model printer. I was unable to get the printer to join my WiFi system so I had to use a cable connection between my Mac and the printer. Works like a charm. My son says... "PICNIC" dad.....Problem In Chair Not In Computer! He's probably right.
