After a little setup, the printer works great. As with all printers, it doesn't work that well with envelopes. However, after printing a few you'll get the hang of it. The big issue I've had is with scanning. As of now it scans slightly crooked. It wouldn't be a big deal for personal use, but I use it for business and it's not perfect.

The composer in my house needs to print 11"x17" music scores. We were told that we needed to buy an expensive laser printer because the ink costs on an inkjet would be prohibitive. Well this printer costs the same to print each page as a laser. It is not quite as fast, but the cost of the printer itself is a fraction of the cost of a laser printer (we paid $189 on sale). We had to call support to get a driver that was necessary to print from our MAC computer. It would have been nice if we could have found that this was the problem ourselves on their website because quite frankly HP's technical support really sucks. We did get lucky eventually and got connected to a knowledgeable tech who diagnosed the problem by connecting to our computer, but not before being disconnected by another tech and holding quite a bit. Also if you do call support you will get a message that tells you to hang up and look online. I don't appreciate being insulated like that. But as the recorded message tells you to hang up, keep saying the word "representative" and you will eventually get connected. So as for the printer, We think for the price this is the best option.

Great printer for price, it’s a little to big but it’s what i wanted

Awesome printer. The quality of every printing job is just phenomenal. Setup is super easy and I’m not a tech wiz but is very user friendly. It is super heavy I had my husband help me unpack it and carry it. But other than that I am super pleased and excited to have this great printer now. Would def recommend.

The printer is very easy to set-up. Once set-up, it is very simple from a connected computer to send scan orders, including double sided scan jobs, to the printer, with documents in the top feed tray. A wonderful printer / scanner.

Met all expectations for a home office. Works with paper sizes

So far, happy with printer. We bought because it can handle 11x17 printing for small construction company. Looking forward to how much it will help us.

The printer is very easy to set up. It prints wonderfully!!

Really like having 2 paper trays and wider screen scanning capabilities. It seems to scan documents much more slowly than my previous HP Office Jet- All In One though, which is a bit troublesome. Plug and print installation.

Although its more printer than I need, it has been working very well...the printing is clean and clar.

except for the BIG BOX the unit comes in, overall exceeded my expectaions. It was, in fact, the easiest peripheral install I have ever made... The drivers and user interface tools are great and configure with ease over a few simple questions - Somebody did their research - Good work

Great product. It’s like my old HP 8600 that printed around 15k documents, but this one prints 11x17. I love the two print drawers.

A great and wonderful printer indeed. I had to replace this for a large printer that I had.

I loved this printer for the extra large flatbed scanning capability. I could scan my 9" x 12" art canvases. At 13 months, just one month beyond the warranty window the scanner started putting a vertical 3/4 inch black line on the left side of every scanned image. All efforts to fix this through HP's support help lines were fruitless. They determined it's a 'hardware' failure and cannot be fixed. I am now stuck with a worthless giant paperweight in my studio and can no longer scan my art for my business. Everything was working fine until my black ink cartridge was running low & HP automatically updated the firmware. I suspect that this may be the intended flaw. DO NOT PURCHASE THIS WORTHLESS PIECE OF JUNK!!! You will run the risk of having spent precious $ like I did and getting less than a year's worth of light use.
