    I bought my first dot matrix home printer about 25 years ago. Since then, I have bought HP printers with two exceptions. In both cases, I was disappointed and returned to buying HP. This is a good solid printerwith features that serve you well whether you have a busy household or a small business.

    Originally bought in 2021, printer didn't even last two years before having to be traded in and replaced in 2023. Now in 2025, printer is having issues again. Every time you go to print, it does printer maintenance despite being on all the time. Ink doesn't last long and it is so hard to change print settings. If you're scanning, you have to open first the app on the computer and do it from there: you can't just scan to a USB drive or anything. HP site is not helpful for when error codes pop up.

    Surprisingly east to set up and install ink cartridges. The printer connected to the WIFI connection easy enough nd HAS NOT dropped connection since installed (earlier models use to drop wifi constantly). Our computers connected to printer with ease and are able to print from anywhere with in out home network. Adding the print app to our phones have allowed us to print from anywhere!!

    This is not as good as my previous officejet printer i bought this to replace. It holds about 150 sheets of paper. print quality is good. Takes a few button presses to do things that used to take 1 or 2.

    HP needs to start making their own Print head replacements Not even 6 mo old and the print head is defective. Cheaper to buy a new printer the Print head. I like the printer when it works but so far I have had to replace 4 HP printers due to defective print heads.
