Don't waste your money

Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Originally bought in 2021, printer didn't even last two years before having to be traded in and replaced in 2023. Now in 2025, printer is having issues again. Every time you go to print, it does printer maintenance despite being on all the time. Ink doesn't last long and it is so hard to change print settings. If you're scanning, you have to open first the app on the computer and do it from there: you can't just scan to a USB drive or anything. HP site is not helpful for when error codes pop up.

Scanner needs work.

It prints rapidly with good quality. However the scan feature is not user friends and so far yields very blurry images. I need to work with the settings however I'd give the scanner a thumbs down at this point.

Best printer I've owned.

I love the fact that I can copy, scan, print, and fax all in one. I also love that I can fax through my mobile phone through the app. I use instant ink with it which is a lifesaver! The quality of the printing is great and I love that I can also connect my printer wirelessly. Overall extremely happy with my printer. So happy I took the leap and bought it.

Good printer but has a loud Pre print process.

Kind of drives me crazy. It clunks and beeps and makes all sorts of noise but once it starts printing its much better than the 4000 series that I had previously.
