Was worried about a large printer with the feeder on top because I had my printer sitting on my old printer. Easy setup and has been working well. Scans and copies from the doc feeder which is what I was mostly looking for. For anyone wondering, you can set a laptop/book of paper on the left side of the feeder which is structurally sound and flat.

I did buy this based on the online help from someone at Best Buy who assured me that the ink used in this printer would be the same as my older printer. I still had 3 full ink cartridges. It turns out that was not true. The new printer does not use the same numbered ink cartridge. But other than that poor advice, I am happy with the printer.
