Setup was easier than expected. However, the second laptop took multiple tries to recognize that it exists. Overall, I like it a lot. I have not yet tried the scanning function.

HP smart is helpful when scanning, but it makes printing take longer. You can bypass it by selecting the printer when trying to print instead of HP smart. It's also another account and password to manage.

Online help from HP was fantastic and helped me work through the problems. Once I got past that part the printer is very good. Printing, scanning e-print and HP smart all work as advertised. Only reason I gave this a 4/5 was the set-up, otherwise it's a 5/5!

I’ve used HP in the past and upgraded from the HP 6583 series prior to this one because it’s didn’t have the fax capability. The only concern I have is using the digital screen that had my using the app for the scanner and faxing aspect. After some trial and error I was able to get it to work. Overall I like the product and would recommend it.
