A total piece of cheap crap. My other HP printer lasted for 10 years. Great product so I bought another. Absolutely not the same quality. First- it is slow!!!! Thinks for ever and then print quality is crap. It randomly throws in extra blank pages. Tears through ink. The lid won’t stay open so I have to prop it open with a stapler to change the ink. After you pull the paper tray out, it takes multiple attempts to try to get it back in. It is very frustrating!! I will never buy a HP printer again. If you are smart you will take my advice and DO NOT BUY!

Your exasperation comes as no surprise, considering you’ve endured slow print speed, poor print quality, problems with the document feeder and paper tray, rapid ink use, and a lid that won’t stay open when you install new ink cartridges. The 9010 is a great all-in-one. Missing is the 8020 scanning program on the conputer. The 9010 scanning to the computer is very poor.

This works well once you sort your way through this, but it should not be this hard. Would suggest that there be an option to allow direct connection with a cord in instances like this.

I did e counter an issue with double aided printing, it wouldn't do it, and support team for HP gave me advise to clean out the rollers and it's back to working fine.

I was very happy with the old one and continue to be as pleased with the new one. Print quality is excellent. It has all of the features I need, including scanning, and fax mode.

A subsequent Geek squad visit corrected that. The printed receiver tray does not come out automatically. The paper loading tray is very flimsy.
