I did print out a manual so I could follow along easier. Once hooked up it works just like it is suppose to. I've already had an update that I had to down load to the printer. So I'm learning.

Not very intuitive to use amd instructions are nil. Apple air print requires constant setup. HP Smart fair but the avoid ink service contract if for home use. Prints well .

Great Printer in a smaller pretty package.

Only complaint, the lid does not have a spring hinge allowing it to stay up while putting a page on glass to copy. And the output tray is a little smaller than my last Ofice Jet, but works. I have the HP instant ink plan which can't be beat and saves me lots of money each year as I print a lot each month.

When I turn it on, it goes right into a self check mode to make sure everything is fine with the printer. If you need ink it let's you know paper's the same. it cleans the jets so they don't get clogged like other printers do. If the safety system can't fix the problems it will tell you to take it to the shop.
