I tried everything I could think of to fix the problem, but it persisted. I have Geek Squad Protection; in a chat, I was told that I had to sign up for some plan before he could do anything to help me, so I terminated the chat and left a message for someone to call me. No one ever returned my call. As far as I'm concerned, Geek Squad Protection is worthless. Also, I tried unsuccessfully to talk to someone about recycling my old printer. I have to say that your website and service is terrible, and I regret going to Best Buy to purchase a printer.

Continual paper jams from pulling multiple papers l at once. Black printing has never worked. It was tested with a second new XL cartridge and still does not work even after 10 cleaning cycles. The screen is tiny and hard to use. The screen does not tilt sufficiently for you to easily see and use the touch controls. It appears to be designed for the height of a middle school child. The features set is poor for a Officejet Pro series. For example, it cannot auto scan double sided pages. I bought this unit to replace a OfficeJet Pro 8600A that I have used for 9 years. It was being replaced solely because ink cartridges were difficult to find. Compared to that unit’s features and ease of use, the 8035 is a tinkertoy. As a IT professional who has used nothing but HP Laserjet and OfficeJet pro systems for 22 years, I am highly disappointed.

If you subscribe to the instant ink program, your printer will be COMPLETELY LOCKED if you can't connect so they can track your ink usage. I mean NO COPIES, NO SCANS, NO ANYTHING!!!! RIDICULOUS and, as there is virtually no constant connectivity within this machine, you basically are purchasing your first heart attack from the stress this horrible product gives you. DO NOT BUY!!!!
