In my opinion, this is an excellent printer for home, school, or small business use. I have an older revision of this printer in another room and continue to be very happy with the performance of this line. This newer version is very similar with a couple of improvements. The setup was easier with this model. It recognized my network right when it was supposed to. Once I completed the unpackaging inside the ink compartment and put in the supplies, the entire process was complete is then 15 minutes. It ran a test page that I put on the scanner bad in order to align the cartridges and ever since, the printing has been perfect. This is not going to be a high-quality photo printer but you can certainly get some smaller ones from it to put in cards or small frames. The print speed is good at about 10-20 pages per minute depending on how much color is in the job and it runs pretty quietly. The 12 months of free ink is a huge plus. I have signed up for the monthly package and ink comes to me before I need it so I always have it on hand. My only suggestion is to use a decent stock for the paper supply. The print comes out a lot better for you that way. You will not regret picking this printer up.
