Firstly I was upgrading from a faithful Officejet 4650 and figured I would have been delighted with the generational leap and this new "HP+" thingy. But unfortunately, they seemed to have removed some of the key features such as the "HP eprint" which gives your printer an email address that you could just email your printer an attached document and it would be printed. I have returned this printer and purchased a generation below this printer which has the HP eprint feature and personally feels more solid. It's an officejet pro 6987 for anyone interested. Another issue is that this printer makes it hard for people to print from their phones easily via the wifi without some setup and account required. Perhaps it was in the name of security but it was just very inconvenient. I really don't know that the hp+ 'print from anywhere' feature really did.

When it took 3 sheets, it jammed. To place the paper properly in the tray, the tray has to be removed. So to print 5 pages at a time, I recommend one sheet at a time. That means removing the tray, put in a sheet of paper, print one page and then another sheet for page 2. Also, with 3 sheets of paper in the tray to print one page, it prints one line on one page, one line on page 2 and the rest on page 3. This printer is a time and paper waster and aggravating.

Hit or miss on faxes. Scanning was an issue. Had to return for a heftier unit that could keep up with our office needs.

I'm kicking myself for not doing more research on this printer - it's awful. It hasn't worked correctly for months and my wife has spent HOURS on the phone/chat with HP to try to get it working again and HOURS chatting with Geek Squad people. It won't connect to my instant ink account, which means I have no ink. No one can figure out what's wrong with it. I know what's wrong with it - it's a piece of junk.
