I never write reviews, but this machine is a nightmare. In order to scan something from your printer and send it to your computer (using the wireless function), you are forced to sign-in and use HP Cloud services. Why? I'm guessing it's for their benefit - not ours. Spying on us, perhaps? HP claims you can scan without signing-in, but if you do a search you will see this is not true. There are many, many complaints about this issue. I'm returning this item to the store as soon as possible and will never again buy an HP product.

I purchased this printer less than a month ago and have recently started using it. Paper get jammed in it constantly despite me following the directions to correct the issue. The paper tray doesn't fit flushing into the slide. The overall quality I've come to expect from HP is severely lacking with this device. Unfornately, the allowable return period has passed so I've wasted over $200 I'm stuck with a printer that I can't use.

      Hi there.

I’m sorry to hear that your printer has experienced frequent paper jams. It’s easy to understand why that would quickly become exasperating, especially considering you followed the measures recommended by HP to correct the problem and the retailer’s return period has ended. I would love to help you remedy the situation, so I’ll offer a resource and some information aimed at getting you there.

I can’t tell from your review why paper jams continue to occur with your printer, so I suggest that you contact us directly at +1 800-474-6836 so we can help you assess the situation and find a solution. (Please note that because of restrictions on personal movement and workplace attendance associated with the COVID-19 pandemic, wait times for agents are longer than normal. Thanks in advance for your understanding.) To expedite the process, I recommend gathering the following information before the call:

      - Model number
      - Serial number
      - Your location
      - Case number (from any previous contact with HP support)

I'll also mention that HP printers have a one-year warranty from their purchase date that covers hardware as well as ink supplies – and that warranty extends another year with an HP+ account – so if it comes to that, you might consider making use of it. You can verify the warranty using the following link:

The printer itself is great but it has been having issues being recognized. I often have to turn the power off then back on for the printer to be recognized by my Mac.

Ink was extremely hard to use. Why put a piece of plastic on the cartridge that you have to fight to break it off? Also the ink selection button is too small.

It was a floor model. The only reason I got it was they did not have any others in stock and were out of ink for my printer and I need a printer that day.

This printer was replacing a printer that had a printer head problem. After some research we decided it might be best to buy new. This printer came out of the box seeming to be cheaply made and not substantial. With the first print, it has been squeaking and making noises. This is not what I expected with an HP printer. Extremely disappointed!

Not particularly user friendly. To scan something to your computer, there's an added step on your computer. I like my old all-in-one HP 8026 better.

Keyboard i'd give a 4. it seems to work well but i'd hoped to get both a keyboard and mouse to use the same usb port but the mouse was DOA. tried everything i know to get it to work but its doesn't work all. replaced batteries, changed usb ports, pushed "connect" button multiple times, NOTHING. really bummed as i've had to use another USB port for another wireless mouse. keyboard is better than the one delivered from HP with my All in One but dang, you think they could make a mouse that worked

    DO NOT BUY THIS PRINTER

This printer is the absolute worse. HP customer service is the absolute worse. I spent a good amount of money on this printer because I was led to believe that it would last. I have had this printer for only a little more than a year, used less than 30 times and already there are hardware issues at the fault of HP. I get a carriage jam error when there is in fact no jam or obstruction in the printer. It is also not an ink cartridge issue because all cartridges come from HP Instant Ink program which I will certainly be cancelling now. When calling customer service I was told they cannot help me and this issue can not be fixed. They told me I need to buy a whole new printer because this one is outside of the warranty period. There is no option for repair or replacement. It is ridiculous to have spent a large amount of money for a printer for it to break after only a year and minimal use. The worse customer service experience I have ever had. I will never purchase another HP product again.
